How come you've quitted landscaping? I thought that you had enough of security things? Too many working hours for me. A lot of hours to do. It can go between 60 to 80 hours per weeks. I prefer to have a job which is more equilibrate between my professionnel and personal life. Unless I was doing that for having my unemployment insurance, which is not what I want, this will have been perfect for the summer. As for the security job, I was sick and tired to work for a security agency, in another word, my last four years I have pass. This is not the case now. But I have another plan during next year. School??? Maybe.

Back when I owned a set of wheels, tyre changes took a variable amount of time depending on how long the RAC took to arrive! Hey, if you've got a membership you might as well use it. Besides, I wouldn't drive a car I'd changed the tyre on. I was kept up until 4am by the asshat next door and his stereo. I swear I'm getting the authorities involved next time.

He kept me awake with, of all things, Radiohead. Usually they send me to sleep, but when played loud enough they can be quite irritating.

Been a while since somebody wrote something in this thread. What's up with your life guys? Anyways, I went to see the show of Oasis in Montreal yesterday. Was good, they played their greatest hits along one or two new songs from their next album. However, there were two first parts, and the first one was boring as hell.

Well, today I played the piano for the singing group that I play for at a wedding and then we had lunch in Worcester - a very pleasant afternoon. Yesterday was the last day of my first teaching job, which was in a local summer school for international students. It was a great experience and a very good thing to have on my CV, though the college itself is a bit rubbish. So while I'll definitely miss the students, I won't miss the place! It's funny how you can stereotype nationalities - or it seems like you can - but on the basis of this particular college's students, if you want to meet really nice people: Slovenians and Iranians - simple as that! There were loads of other nice students as well, of course, but those two nationalities really did stand out as making me think, I can't believe they're all so nice!

You're right, they can't. I knew an Iranian (or Persian, as she referred to herself) who was a right gimp. I've been doing nothing lately. Nothing at all. Until my housemates move in, I'm living alone. Until the academic year starts again, there's no-one I know for miles around except my ex-girlfriend. Jobs are few and hard-won in Bangor area, so I have nothing to do. It's a dull time. On the bright side, I've done a little more writing on the hybrid story I was challenged to write oh so long ago.

I knew an Iranian (or Persian, as she referred to herself) who was a right gimp. There's always one, isn't there? Today I finished work over an hour later than intended, came home to phone a college about an evening language course, was told that the tutor for the class would be at the college during the evening, very quickly got ready to go out again, cycled to the train station, caught the train to Birmingham, went to the college and was told that the tutor had left half an hour before I got there. The tutors of various languages that I don't want to take an evening class in were very helpful and told me what they could, but I ended up making a four and a half hour round trip pretty much for nothing.

Ugh, sorry to hear that. But you've reminded me that I need to look into Welsh classes.

With my phrasing I gave myself a mental image of scampering from classroom to classroom, peering into each one, then running away, going "tee hee". I think I need more sleep.
