Come on people, we even mentioned it in Aon and regretted not having it, how can we not have created this thread before!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, today I took the day off work to have some furniture delivered. My books were crammed into a tiny space, and my DVDs were sitting pathetically on the floor in a less than idea distribution for retrieval. And don't get me started on my cluttered chest of drawer top and lack of bedside table.
Now, aside from the fact that I ordered only a chair cushion not the chair (which works out well, I don't have the space, I can use my laptop ok actually for stuff, andmy desktop still isn't connecting well to the router) I got everythign I needed!
I lost some feelings of space, but have a long set of shelves for my DVDs, a tall set of shelves for my books, and better yet the old smaller shelves still fit in so I have a second set of shelves for odds and sods like comp discs, CDs (don't bother with them afterrippign them to computer) and also a bedside table with drawer for important nick nacks, lamp and clock. Perfect!
So although I have less floor space, I have more spaces! I can put cups and plates down on lots of surfaces, and I can actually intelligently put items on certain shelves, and know there is expansion room if needed.
Mmmmm
I also managed to make a bland yet serviceable soup, althogu hthe snow has melted so it isn't really soup weather anymore.
So yeah, so far a good day, and it's not over yet! INfact, I wouldn't be back from work yet! I could still settle down and perhaps work on a short story or two, or transcribe some WW stuff, or just relax.
So that was good.

I went to work. How dull am I? Then I came home, played on The Sims 2 with my Apocalypse family and leafed around on a few Birthright forums.

I took the family down the petting zoo today. Lots of newborn lambs out for all to see, the girls seemed to enjoy themselves. Plus there was the bullock who my sister-in-law pointed out to me, had the most enourmous balls in the world!! Poor fella....

I'm glad my thread was popular enough to warrant a redoing of it here!
So people know I'm not just lying around, post production of the Noir Project, now called The Lost, has gotten past the scheduling issues it was having and has moved on to voice overs, music, and sound effects (including ambient dubbing, which can be a pain in the butt).
This is probably the hardest part of the project, because we've finally hit some major restrictions with our current equipment. We need to locate some good microphones soon to make sound effects with.
In any case, the film is still on task, with estimated DVD and local theatre release being at the end of summer. I'd like to offer up some for sale to the people here (all money goes to the film club), but I remember the last time I tried to ship something overseas (to Wuufy, for the tournament), it was gonna cost something like 40 dollars!
I'm also acting in several other projects, and finishing up the final touches on a rewrite of a script to be filmed in the next year or so, and then sent to Sundance and Cannes. One of the pieces we're shooting now has the same goal, but between the forum and myself, my script is much better ^_^
In other news, we finally found all the footage for LATE, that parody of LOST that I posted a long time ago (about a year now, I think). That means all 8 episodes are complete and watchable on you tube. I'll post a new thread for them, for those that are interested.

So i pottered around with TotS stuff, trying to sort out the downloads (half doing that) trying to sort out the member contact details (kept getting diatracted) made chilli (just from a jar), watched BSG and Doctor Who, and now am waiting in a freezing cold sitting room for a glazier because my drunken polish housemate forgot his keys, couldn't get anyone in (I had on headphones and the others are out) so he deiced to climb through a window and managed to put his foot through it.
That's been my saturday!
