Just as an aside, what do Annihilators look like? I'd find it easier to write IC stuff if I knew what I was killing. Hmmm... a good question. Let just say that the look like D&D Gnolls. Don't think I've seen a Magnamund quivalent of that. The only exception is their head which take on any number of appearances and most often is protected by a helmet. For their facial appearance they are initally like the Demon Horde in Grey Star 4 and have taken on appearances of local animals and early attackers. They can change facial appearance at will over time (takes a couple of hours for them).

Beastmen, eh? For some reason I thought they sounded like constructs. Still, it's good to know that Annihilators are squishy. Expect lurid descriptions of blood, brains and fur flying everywhere from now on.

The Marksmanship competition has its last 3 Rounds of fire this weekend.
So, time to consider the next competition. What is preferred:
* Quarterstaff on Poles * Axe throwing
Both will be modified from KDJT but they are both similar.
Quarterstaff on Poles is against Annihilators in qualification stage, and then against another champion for the grand price.
Axe throwing will be pure luck and choosing some random numbers. Hmmm... on seconds thoughs you will not throw axes, but you will choose squares in a grid... and hope you hit Annihilators by doing so...

Volkern Ironheart, Meledorian Arc-Knight Strength: 2, Speed: 3, Eye: 1, Mind: 0. O.K. Specials: Spectrum Vision (race special) Acute Hearing (race special) Ku-ir Mastery (mastery of air element attacks) Have you dropped the Kai part of your character? If not, then you are required to have the Kai Training special. Kai Training gives the following general bonuses: 1 psychic defence 1 psychic attack +1 stealth +1 perception +1 Health every 2 Rounds. The game does not differ between different ways of sensing others, so your Vision and Aural skill could be put into one Race special. There is the following special for improved perception, which you can take and call "Meledorian Perception" or similar. Superior PerceptionThe character gets to reroll all failed Perception rolls, only one reroll is made in case of failure. Character must accept a failure on the reroll. The above stacks with the Kai Perception bonus. As for the last special I'm stumped as to what you intend it to do. So what things would the special allow your character to do? Is it weapon related? Usable as ranged attack? Usable as ranged effect? Put shortly: how does it work? Special Items: Arc Blade + 2 speed Maximum permanent item stat boost to any stat is +1. What type of weapon is it? Sword-like? Finessable, Normal, or two-handed? The above counts as one of your two special items. Other items: 3 x fireseed 1 x potion of healing 1 x bandage 1 x obsidian rod Fireseeds can be fetched from the store which are available and will count as one of your Herbs/Potions. Healing Potions: You start each event fully Healed and with one Healing Potion in your inventory. (Applies to all players.) Bandage. OK. (RP item.) What does the obsidian rod do, if anything? (If RP item OK, otherwise we need to agree on properties.) Looks good. Just a few clarifications needed and you should be set to go.

I have decided to base my character on its own races' culture and style. I will do a little about how he became a Kai master on a later stage. I will just do as you say about my perception then. will give it a general name called superior perception Ku-ir Mastery is simply master of the manupilation of the air element, using it to assist the character ie creating wind gusts, project powerful compressed air shots and any other uses you can imagine possible with air. The Arc Blade is a curved bladed weapon which has a curved hilt as well. hilt length is 1/3 of the weapon length, allowing the user to apply both hands to apply more force or simply using 1 hand to wield it normally. the closest sword class is similar to the ones used by the high elves. what is an RP item?? anyway the obsidian rod is just a rod which is able to provide light and thats all

Role playing item I guess - you can say you used it in IC posts, but will have no game mechanic effect i think
