I totally missed that, thanks! but I have just created a new class all by myself, and will put it up here shortly. It is a redone Buccaneer for the trees - think Robin Hood.

Sounds like I was bang-on with my Errol Flynn comparison earlier.

Looking forward to playing with you all in this one. If Maerin okays it, I'll be joining up as a Cat Clan Rogue, since I have a lot of role playing experience with that class from TOTS and due to a streak of ended games and players who have too much of an actual life, have yet to really see one in action.

I am now tempted to play in this too.
I would like to continue a BCS like character, maybe biased to Ishir so less offensive spells (like Al did, almost directly equivalent to BCS with renamed abilities or directly equivalent)

When I comment on Al's draft here, it will only be within the scope of this game I am in the process of planning. More general design comments and feedback, including ones that might be somewhat different than those posted here, will be posted in the Forge thread. The reason I am mentioning this is I am of two minds about the draft so far. From the standpoint of this game here, my "comments" will have the metaphorical rule of law. From the standpoint of peer feedback for the new class overall, my comments will be as acceptable as Al decides they should be.

I am pulling for the mind that likes my draft, but I will not argue with your decision.
I look forward to your feedback in the forge, though

I'm happy to go with a Sage of Lyris, tomb raider/archaeologist style. I can't promise big breasts or a bullwhip, but I'm happy to provide the erudite conversation and dazzling repartee

I could always mix the archaeologist concept up a bit with the Expert class from LWd20, but the rest is up to you

So when can we start creating our characters? And what boards are we playing on?

Sorry for the delay. I am working on typing up the character creation guidelines and such, but am a bit more limited on spare time, and a bit more loaded on creative projects, then I would normally like. The further delay is not going to be a long one, so don't worry about that. I just need to finish clearing up the old projects.

A play-by-post game? Aw man, seems I was returning to this place just a little bit too late I suppose there is not another spot left? The group seemed pretty full...

Nothing's been decided, and I'd happily drop out if it was full since I should probably conserve my time.
Tempting though it is to try out a higher power BCS
Edit: Oh, I guess I wasn't in the list anyway due to equivocating!
