I guess I will lead the questions with what was detailed above Neither the old man nor the woman knows what the ring signifies. If anything it would be used by some covert organisation. Search doesn't reveal anything new. Will remind you of what I wrote before. A woman in her twenties. She looks like a local to this area and part of the upper class.
An man in his fifties. By his clothing you judge him to be part of the mayor's household in one way or another. The prisoners are beginning to wonder what you want and who you are. The man asks it outloud. "Who are you and what do you want with us?"

I'll barg in on this one.
"We have been sent by the High Mayor of Casiorn to find his son who was kidnapped. We have come fighting through this dungeon to find the place crawling with ceners and assassins, to end up in some stinky waterway with less than helpful prisoners. We presume you know the Mayors son, given your state and appearence. Now, do you know where the Mayors son is?"
I'll then drag up the corpse of the assassin and show them his face.
"The ring was found on this person. As you can see, he lost his little encounter with me. Now, unless you wish to end up the same, you will secure your freedom by being more helpful!"
There. If that doesnt give us the info we need, their getting a bor pistol shot to the head!

Lol, and you fight fid a dagger a sword dundder your neck and a pistol pointed at you - Beowuuf will probably make to open the door with a well placed set of power attacks, because beowuuf is probably stupid

The prisoners listen to eviltb's account.
When asked about the mayor's son. They do not say anything. The old man looks clueless and the woman looks pensive.
However, when eviltb presents them with the corpse...
Which I will here point out looks quite messy. Not a pretty sight at all! (Remember that eviltb shot the elite assassin at point blank range with a bor pistol!)
The old man looks shocked and says:
"It's the mayor's son! By Ishir, what have you done to him!"
"The mayor's son was behind all of this?" the woman says incredulously.
Back to Doomy, Beowuuf, and eviltb for their next actions...

"I knew it!" said Beowuuf, "in a completely 'I had no idea at all' sort of way, bit I knew it!"
Nah, not really.
Beowuuf looks shocked and saddened. "Well Konkor, the loot is all yours to return to the mayor. You can tell him about his son, after all you slew all the villains single handedly, did you not!"
Which of course, he pretty much did.
Beowuuf turns to the two prisoners and talks as he smashes their bonds. "Pleasde, believe us when we say the man did not make himself known and was killed in battle - he was even masked. Whether you need to go back to the mayor with this information or not, I would advice you to delay and take a long path - to let us defeat an evil here and move away, and more importantly because the Konkor here will probably rip your throats out if he suspects you will deny him his reward."
Beowuuf standsd up to look at Doomy. "Friend, I do not know if you wish to go wit hthese people to keep them safe and go to the mayor given this dedvelopment, but I cannot go with you. My people have charged me with destroying an evil here, and dgiven the presence of the Cener I believe it is an evil I am beholden to find. I could do with your strong right arm, but if you have your own path then so be it."
Cue Beowuuf climbing up the stairs, entering the eye room, openign the secret door to the south, and discovering the altar isn't there. Which will be a shame, as the inspiring 'Beowuuf' animated film music will have been playing the whole time, since it's in my head.

"What?" says Doomy, astonished. "That fighter must have smacked you in the head, knight. You think our alliance with this Kai hunter will endure after we let him leave here with all this treasure?" Turning to EvilTB, he says, "Well, so far you have kept your word, much to my astonishment. But I for one will need convincing that you are still to be trusted if I am to help this addle-brained knight on his new mission."

"Risk versus reward," says Beowuuf shrugging, "he gets to keep the artifacts of the Cener and gets a reward fr mthe mayor, instead of being hunted for stealing - it so gets in the way of evil plots to be arrested din every town."I think Beowuuf is probably drunk and has been this whole mission

"So you want us to go and blow up this altar with explosives we don't have, then visit the High Mayor and blame the Kai hunter if the treasure has failed to reach him before we do?" says Doomy. "I was right. You were smacked in the head. Why don't the three of us return the treasure and the corpse, then you and I come back for the altar together - if there's any money in it for me. "Besides, if the konkor turns up alone the grief-stricken High Mayor will likely decide he murdered his son. I suspect he still needs us if his head is to be spared the executioner's block."

Just one note for eviltb.
It would be extremely dangerous to your health to turn in the stolen artifacts and claim the reward after admitting to the two prisoners that you killed the mayor's son.
You would no doubt get the reward (because the mayor is an honest man) but you may not leave the High Mayor's residence alive with it (because he is the father of a person you have slain and whose corpse you have damaged heavily.).

I spared your life wolf, as a foolish man does not enter into a combat he cannot win! Although we have found what we were looking for, we have yet to return to the mayor to present his loot and his son - what is left of him - to him and claim the reward. So, in my mind at least, the accord we came to is still in effect. If you wish to take issue with me, dwarf, I consider our agreement void and you shall taste my wrath!

Alrighty....
eviltb goes with prisoners and stolen treasures back to Casiorn.
Beowuuf goes back up to try and find the temple.
Doomy ... back with prisoners and stolen treasures as well, keeping a very close eye on the NAK?
Not sure about Doomy. You can always try to argue with Beowuuf to come with you since you alone with a NAK is dangerous even though the prisoners will no doubt help you keep an eye on eviltb. (You already have done so but Bewouuf has not indicated his answer in this thread. I guess this answer is the next thing to be posted here, since it is difficult to go forward without it.)
Each of you indicate if you are satisifed with the above, or if you want to something else.

That's it really, I did warn the prisoners not to go back with eviltb, and if they were that Doomy shoudl look out for them. If Doomy is going with them, I trust the dwarf shouldd be ok - well, that and I really have t follow up a mission form my kin!
So yeah, I'll check out that south secret door next to eviltb's secret door! And wonder why, if the alrm is going off, those three elite fighters aren't coming out to play!
