OOC: If I got to choose any one of those items, it would be the Necklace of Perception. However it was TB who killed the assassin so he gets dibs. Not really interested in the other stuff, except the High Mayor's possessions. I'm happy with my current kit. I'll let Beo and Evil sort it out.

The problem with armour is it takes so long to don you'll never catch up. Otherwise I'd check it out. I doubt it's any better than what I'm already wearing however.

Catch up with what? We're waiting for those darn creepers to bugger off! Infact... Actions:See the faces of those assembled (incase one of them is the mayor's son Don armour if allowed Wait for lever to become free It would take like 10 Rounds to don the Full Plate, and in order to use it I'd require that you are trained in using this form of heavy armour. Also, these armours were often made to fit. The man you have downed is fairly large and so must you be. Think hmmm almost Sebb Jarel size, but not quite. Hmmm.... the Assassin is clearly of Casiornian decent and you would judge that he is of a higher class, and probably held a higher role. So for an ID I would have to ask of you how familiar are you with the ruling people in Casiorn (applies to all since Beowuuf has demasked the man). Have any of you actually seen a picture or heard a description of the Mayor's son? (Not a given at all since you sort of all rushed to the rescue!) Do you know any of the other influential people in Casiorn? (Ambassadors, sages, merchants, envoys and similar people.)

Looking at the dead assassin, a thought strikes Doomy. "He looks like a Casiornian noble," he says to the others. "I have met one who may be able to tell us more."
I'm referring to the sorceress I didn't shoot earlier. Suggest taking the body - and the mask - to her.
Actions Take as much of the High Mayor's lost treasure as possible, while telling Beowuuf and EvilTB about my encounter with the sorceress. Oh, and give Beowuuf a healing potion to drink while he listens to the story.

Right, well this is what I want -
Black Steel Dagger (drop magic scimitar) Poisonous Rapier (replacing my normal rapier) Necklace of Perception The gold and lune from the assassin and the fighter
Since their from the ones I downed and I would get the most benefit from them. I also then want to look at the ceners apothecary to see what potions are available.
The rest you guys can divide amongst yourselves as you see fit, including the magic scimitar I have if anyone wants it (I'll drop it near the corpses or hand it over).

Thought you might take the necklace of perception. Oh well.

Very generous of the eviltb! You'll give villainy a bad name Ok, will ignore the plate mail. Doomy, wanna split the cloak of blending +2 strength and the platinum amulet -2 damage reduction hot/cold? You can have first shout. I'll take the platinum wand if no one else is going for it, since I felt it first hand and it blooming well hurt! I guess my mana/mind will actually let me use it. I'll also examine the silver ring of the assassin to see if it holds anything more than ornamental value, if it does I'll keep it - but I'll tell people why I'm keeping it! I don't think I'd have any reason to know the casiorn guy The Dessi mages might know more, but they are quite far back - and besides, I wanna find the evil temple first, even though I can't destroy it anymore!

OK, I'll take the platinum amulet. Does it stack with my existing armour bonus? The wand is almost certainly useless to me, and my current cloak is superior to the cloak of blending, especially considering my stealth penalty. Oh, and I might as well swap my damaged magic dagger for EvilTB's scimitar. Wonder if the assassin's ring might identify him? If not, will anyone help me carry his corpse back to the sorceress?

Possibly not, depending on what AS says about the ring. We could just take the head of course, but I doubt the High Mayor would be terribly happy about that if it is his son!
"Yeah, your boy turned out to be an evil assassin. Here's his bonce, you can go get the rest of him yourself. That'll be 10,000 gold crowns guv."

Indeed. If the ring was magic then AS would say so, but yea we could look at it. We could decapitate the head, he's dead so I doubt he'll mind.

I'm just concerned that turning up clutching the severed head of someone we're supposed to be rescuing might not be the best way to get the reward money. In fact, it could get us tossed into the dungeons.
On the other hand, who's for a game of football?
