I sent off the book today.
But I admit that I stand accused now of a major crime in the Lone Wolf community; the inside front map has come off. And for this to happen while the book is in my care...I deeply apologise for this, Fallen Angel, and to all of you Magnamundians. I am really shocked and saddened by this, but rest assured, the rest of the book is still in good condition.
I have stuck it back with 4 thin strips of transparent adhesive tape, where it should not impede visuality.
I really don't know what else I can say now...but to face your judgement.

Those maps always were stuck on fairly flimsily. A lot of my ones are hanging on by something of a thread - and they haven't been around the world!

Well, I am sure we can give him a going-over in the Toran cellars before throwing him into the Dazhiarn, or we just can flog him a few times and tell him to be more careful next time

I can share the sentiments of the others when I say that those maps are fairly flimsy. And with the amount of travel and signage this book has undergone, it was just a matter of time before it fell out. I'm not Fallen Angel, but I'd say don't sweat it.

I've a good mind to throw you into the Shadow Gate!! How could you vandalised the Book of the Magnakai?!?! The book that contained his teachings and all the knowledge of the Kai. Oh how Sun Eagle would have rolled in his grave if he heard of this. Well it's great to know that this awfully took longer than anticipated, delayed for the umpteenth time, eagerly awaited project is coming to its end. Woot!

Steady on HE, if the book finally arrives back in the UK, then perhaps we can safely say it's coming to a successful end

Can I make a suggestion/request? I'm not sure why GB's name is positioned where it is on the list, but I'm thinking that he maybe ought to be the one to have the honour of sending it to Mr. Dever himself, what with being a very-long-standing stalwart of the Lone Wolf on-line community from a long time before TotS and all that. Okay, I say this partly because 'cause I'm kind of not keen on having the responsibility of doing that myself, but it does seem more fitting - if the author of our favourite gamebooks knew that he'd received the book from someone who actually likes the Legends even more than the gamebooks (and, er, who hasn't so far made any effort to purchase the new editions) he may not be best pleased! Does that sound alright? Especially to GB?

There, we can get a hold on the interview.

I have to agree with eviltb. DV being missing without news is the same as Vashna trapped in limbo in the Chasm of Doom. Now who wants to volunteer to throw the book there? I dare ya <unsheaths Crysalis>

It's just the British contingent left, only several years after we started!
