It is safe and sound in a Fallout 3 lunchbox, awaiting a pass off to Kai Lord when one of us ends up in the other's city.
I'm hoping to have Michelle, AKA the Female Lone Wolf on Project Aon, and my friend Ryan sign it (both of whom are newly indoctrined fans of Lone Wolf) before that time.
I don't think I'm going to sign it again (that would seem pretentious), though I've reread my signature a couple times... not really seeing the words but seeing what was going on four or five years ago when I signed... I wished I had dated it.
I can still remember exactly where I was and what had happened that day. History is a sobering thing.
Also sobering is how large the world is! It's really cool seeing signatures from all over the place!

Come on then, tell us more stories about when the book came upon you!

And with that, it is done.
Today I met Silent Storm in person for the first time and had a delightful time with him. We discussed the history of the project, of Tower of the Sun, and I got some great behind-the-scenes GM info on his classic game Enemy of my Enemy, which ran on TOTS-RPG-OL ages ago and was quite memorable.
The book is now back in its owners hands and has completed the journey around the world. It is the first time that he has seen it in what I think we ended up deciding was 6 years.

Wow! Nice! It was a great adventure that deserves its own gamebook!

It is a very strange feeling to be holding a book that has been held by so many individuals all drawn together by the common factor of Joe Dever's creation. I want to give a personal thanks to all of you guys who supported this project, who signed the book, and who kept the project going. As soon as I get the images I scanned formatted, I'll have them on facebook and flickr, with links in a post on here.
KHFA, who knows that this book is one where YOU are the heroes, because you signed it

FYI: I found the paypal transaction where I bought the book. It was April 19, 2005. So DV got it sometime around then. The project lasted almost 5.5 years!

Excellent news that it is finally home! Have just smiled a lot looking at the photos. Even the Portuguese postal service cannot stop Lone Wolf! A big 'Hurrah!' to you, KL/SS/FA, for having the idea and putting it into practice in the first place - brilliant stuff.

I claim the "worst handwriting" award. It was fairly poor before I learned 100 wpm shorthand, that process simply destroyed what little calligraphic skills I had left.

Sorry for the threadnomancy, but just wanted to say that I'm glad to read a successful conclusion to this project. And sorry that I couldn't be a part of it
