"I'll strip him of his weapons, potions, and that plain ring, then let's send him up like he asked," says Beowuuf, agreeing with Sylvia.
Beowuuf apologises to the earth elemental for troubling it, as the rogue seems to not possess the amulet. Beowuuf also renews his pledge to seek the elemental should he come across the amulet. The wolf then re-itereates what he has said for Sylvia's benefit, unless she knows the Dessi language.
As for the items, Beowuuf puts the copper ring on his own finger, giving a nervous look to Sylvia incase of an adverse reation. He gives the potions to Sylvia, warning her they might be poisons, and asking if she can identify them. The scroll he shares with Sylvia, encouraging her to help him discover its secrets. It is possible fumes from one of the potions might reveal words, or that light behind it might show some imprint on the scroll. The wolf also checks the water mark itself to see if it is a subtle message or clue. He asks Sylvia if she possesses any magic that might reveal hidden writing.
More importantly, he ownders if they should soak the paper. Or, infact, if the paper is just a piece of paper!
The blakc dagger Beowuuf shudders at, but decides to inspect it first incase it possesses some magical properties. The short sword he leaves behind. The Lune he offers to split with Sylvia.
I think that's it, let Sylvia use her activity if she wants to ideintify the potions, I'll use my activity to identify the dagger, ring and scroll.
What's happened about the second rogue's body? Can we go check it out after throwing the first rogue through the teleporter?

Just to clarify before writing.
You are stripping him of the scroll as well, right?
Yes, you can check out the other rouge's body if you so like. Same applies for the other corpses in the room. I'm not removing the props!

Yes, take his scroll too. He should be left with some leather armour, and that's about it

eviltb places and firm hand on the giaks shoulder, speaking with a grin
[giak]"Follow me, and there will be many foes for you to kill."[/giak]
(I still want to search/loot the bodies before we move on)

Sylvia lets you reiterate what you told the Earth Elemental. Whether or not she knows Dessi you cannot tell, but she doesn't stop you.
Sylvia manages to identify the potion: Potion of Restoration (Neutralizes Disease and grants a +3 vs Diseases for 25 Rounds)
The visal of green licquid, you took them as well? Not sure if those are covered by 'potions'.
As for the scroll. Sylvia thinks that it probably contains some hidden scripts. But it is not magical, nor is it made visible by anything you've tried so far. But maybe there is a way to get the writing to show. She hands back the scroll to you after completed search. She hasn't soaked the paper with water or anything else, but it could be worth a try.
The black dagger is made of Kagonite. This black metal which was almost exclusively forged in Helgedad can sometimes cause adversive reactions in some creatures. You can sense that this dagger has been used to kill some people, but that is all. Kagonite is a very durable metal so this dagger is stronger than it looks and harder to break, but there seems to be nothing magical about it.

The Giak seems to accept your command. When you want to start looting, it seems to want to help out; moving towards another of the corpses.
You want to do the looting yourself or you allow the Giak to help you?

Yeah, take the green bottls of liquid too. If I can't identify them, keep them for now in my pack unless Sylvia wants them. I don't think too much game time has passed, so probably easier to keep the food than eat it just now.
Beowuuf mentions his concerns over the probably history of the kagonite blade, but takes it anyway. "I think we should wait for a safer. less public area to be in before soaking the scroll - if it does not work, it would need some time to be dried again!"
Beowuuf then gestures around the hall. "I think we should have one last search for a hidden way out of here, and if one does not present, we should leave to look for the library by the means suggested. Watch out for more glyphs!"
Will use a power word: eye and put full points into searching, looking aroudn the alls for a button or hidden door.

The bottles with green licquid are acid flasks. Suitable to throw and they will shatter fairly easily on impact.
Are you searching the dead rogue first?
The search entails moving along the wall in the room till you have reached full circle? Or you have other plans?

Oops, yes, I'd lost track of that! Search the rogue, search the hall (However long it takes for traps then secrets) and then use the other means for the library if not.
Full circle, starting at the corner where the fight happened and going anti-clockwise
