Disarm and submission hold, and demand to know why he attacked us. Ask Sylvia if she's ok and thank her for the shielding!

You successully disarm the rogue, manage to drop him to the flor and take a submission hold. The rogue seems to be mostly spent and is near death.
You are not getting any reply more than labourered breathing, "Ouch. That hurts." and "Stop that!" from the rogue this turn.
Sylvia accepts your thanks and commends you on your battle skills.
The Earth Elemental is now by your side and looks down over the two rogues.

eviltb (Round 6):
The attacked Giak is downed this round and falls motionless to the floor.
Damage: Adventurer 1. 9+0=9 damage Adventurer 2. 1+0=1 damage Giak 3: 8+3 damage. Killed Giak 4: 3 damage Adventurer 5: 0+1=1 damage Adventurer 6: 4+4=8 damage
eviltb attack adventurer 1: 5+3 = 8. DC: 7. Hit. Damage: 7+1+1-1=8 damage. eviltb kills adventurer 1.
eviltb moves and attacks adventurer 2: 5+4 = 9. DC: 7. Hit. Damage: 8+1+1-1=9 damage.
eviltb attack adventurer 1: 5+6 = 11. DC: 7. Hit. Damage: 3+1+1-1=4 damage.
eviltb attack adventurer 1: 5+4 = 9. DC: 7. Hit. Damage: 6+1+1-1=7 damage. eviltb kills adventurer 2.

Since both the two nearest adventurers are dead, you need a new target to psychic fear.
You can attack adventurer 5 by advancing over the dead body of Giak 3. To attack adventurer 6 you have to take the detour around Giak 4. This works both ways. Adventurer 6 can't attack you easily either and will keep pounding at Giak 4 till you are in range.
In either case, you will not have any further attacks in this round... and attacking 6 means missing out some attacks early next round.

can I psychic 6 then move to attack 5? That seems the best plan to me.

"You will get no sympathy nor healing while you still do not explain your actions!" says Beowuuf in common, and then says the same thing in Dessi for the benefit of the elemental. "Do you possess the relic of this elemental, thief? Did your companion?" Again, Beowuuf says the phrase in Dessi again.
Beowuuf then turns to Sylvia. "Do you have any means to quieten this man down. I don't want to heal him while he can harm us."

Beowuuf:
The held man gasps. There is no answer from him. ( Hmmmm.... what does someone who just tried to cut your gut and failed miserably say ? Hmmm ... will have to think about that.)
Sylvia answers:
"I don't have anything. How about we search him for the amulet and then send him up in the Teleporter - without a token!"
"He looks more exhausted than wounded to me. He is no doubt here to loot and rob. Likely a lot less keen on it now with his comrade dead."
The Earth Elemental offers: "Hold man?"
Seems he is offering to take care of the man you are pinning down on.

You down adventurer 5 and fail your psychic fear check on #6.
It doesn't seem to matter much though. Adventurer #6 is turning and heading towards the Teleporter. You may just be able to cut him down before he reaches it, and then maybe not.
You will not get in more than one strike on him at any rate, and he has a lead already, so he will have a bonus to defence.

"Thank you," says Beowuuf in Dessi, allowing the elemental to take the rogue. "I shall look for the amulet."
Beowuuf explains what he is doing incase Sylvia has not caught his words. "Perhaps check for what the other man has robbed. And watch out for those sygils!"
Beowuuf addresses the rogue. "So, what do you think happens to those who use the teleporter without the correct item? Hmm? Any reason I should not follow the advice of my sage friend? Any information you wish to share?"[/i]

I can still try and fear him though yes? If I can fear and freeze, then i'll disarm him and begin an interrogation. If he doesnt fear, what are my chances of range-attacking him with the spear?

Beowuuf:
The reponse from the rogue is simple enough. "Send me up."
Coming back with details on your searches. Do you take time to search this rogue? And for what in that case?

You failed the fear attempt, see previous post. I made it automaticllay for you assuming you would try it. Next time you can repeat the Fear attempt he is gone. As for throwing the Spear. It would use Eye and carry a penalty because of poor lighting and moving target. Your chances are rather poor to kill him and on top of that you'd risk losing the spear. (Such is the risk of thrown weapons.)

Yes, search the mage thoroughly. Check for 'traps' first, incase he's protected himself. I guess looking for pockets inside pockets that might have gems, lethal weapons, potions. And of course the pendant of the elemental (not really assume they have it), concealed weapons, and any odd tokens. Actually, especially tokens.

eviltb: With a rather lucky thrust from your Spear you manage to down the fleeing adventurer who falls the ground dead with your spear through the back.

You find a four small vials on him containing a green fluid. There is no label on these bottles. In his belt pouch you discover 20 Lune.
He is armed with a shortsword and a dagger. The dagger is made of black steel.
He is clad in a leather armour. There is nothing special about it. You find a scroll in the pockets of his leather armour. A cursory inspection reveals a blank page although the scroll has a water mark on it.
On the finger is a plain copper ring. There is nothing noteworthy about it.
In the backpack is some Potions; no labels attached to them and the glass is darksih covering the real identity of what's in them.
You also find rations in the backpack.
Hmmm Beowuuf. This person is quite clearly a rogue and not a mage. There is no evidence at all about magical power.
You can always spend further activity for closer examination of anything of the above. Just state how many activity you want to spend examining any given item.
