I will follow Doomy, +3 to search then and have 6 for speed. I didn't think I could cast two power words in this game. If I can, I will cast power word: eye and stealth. You still have the normal restriction. 1 Power Word per round. Since they will last 4 rounds with Max energy (3), you can have them applied while you pass through. Won't cost you that much either since you regenerating at 1/Round now. How much does Doomy put into search and/or stealth? About the same speed (or faster) since it takes time to search the corpse.

Same speed as Wuuf in case we run into something it will be better to do so together. We will need to stop to loot the corpse.

Obviously I'll be stealthy doing this. Before I start, can I spend some act watching the hurling between the 2 elementals? Im looking for how long a fireball takes to go across and how long between throws there is.

So this is what you want then ?
Doomy: Eye 3, Speed 3, Act 8 + 2 Perception points
Stealth: 3 (Eye)+2 (PP)=5 Search: 3(Eye)+1(Activity)=4 Movement: 7 (Activity)
Beowuuf: Eye 1, Speed 2, Act 7+1 + 2 Perception points
Stealth: 1(Eye)+1(PP)+1(Spell)+2(Cloak)+1(Activity)=6 Search: 2(Eye)+2(Robe)+1(PP)+1(Spell)=6 Movement: 7(Activity)
You will need to renew the spells a couple of time, but I will assume you do that when the spells are up for renewal.
eviltb: They are throwing towards each other perhaps once every 15 seconds. Balls take say a couple of seconds to reach the other side, like between 5 and 10.
You did notice that the rate and the speed of the fireballs was higher when they threw at the now fallen adventurer.
Are you using the lenses to observe them and this area?

If i need to, the yes lenses would be helpful. Can I look at the floor with them on and see where the floor is "cooler" than the rest? Maybe that could be the key to getting across safely.

Using the lenses you can indeed see where the ground is cooler. If you want to spend enough time you can plot out the safest way until you get past the centre. Will cost you three rounds.

Round 1.
Doomy and Beowuuf:
Moving forward does not present you with any problem this round. You need to make a slight detour to the left to keep a good distance to the walls.
Sylvia:
Moves forward to your left without a problem.
Round 2:
Beowuuf and Doomy:
When moving forwards a wall to your left suddenly switches direction and moves straight towards you at some considerable speed!
Sylvia:
Sylvia moves forward without a problem this round. She is on the other side of the wall that is speeding towards you.
Beowuuf and Doomy: Right. The speeding wall will surely hit you unless you take action, or it changes direction again. If you forego stealth and search next round, you might be able to clear the wall while continuing in your current direction.
Turning back to the square you came from will surely clear you the wall with no problems.
And the last option is to move quickly to the right trying to keep ahead of the wall (in the direction the wall is moving). You surely need to forego stealth and search to keep ahead of the wall.
There is no other walls with a dangerous position right now, but you are in an area where this could change very quickly.
The corpse you discovered is one round's movement ahead from your current point.
NOTE: Searches did not uncover anything of interest during the two first rounds.

I'll dive ahead of the wall. Moving walls are almost certainly noisy anyway so no point trying to be sneaky.

Move quickly forward and hope to avoid the wall - I have no wish to be chased by it! If a power word to aid the dodging effort is available, that would also be good!

I'll take steps on the cooler stones looking to avoid the triggers and try out that jump, looks like I could make it fairly easy. Once Ive jumped i'll stop for a round to scan for more triggers.
