Beowuuf can inform Doomy that the other physical path will be the earth door.
Also there is no right or wrong doors, the diagonal doors will fit certain types of characters better than others, and the same for the N-E-S-W doors. Proper elemental damage protection is one consideration for which diagonal path is suitable to take.
There are dangers for the unwary along all the paths, however.

Earth sounds like a good choice for a dwarf! Just waiting for Beo to convey this information in-character.

"I suspect earth to be the south door. Shall we go back and check the runes again?" asks Beowuuf of his dwarven companion once they decide on the route they wish to take.I assume you'll have to make the roll to decipher AS given invisible castle being down. Edit: Nevermind, it's baaaaaaaaaaaack! Roll to decipher south door (1d10-1=5)

"Earth? Seems apt for a warrior of Bor. One more time then," says the dwarf.

The South door is indeed leading to Earth portal.
Beowuuf translates the symbols on the door to something like:
The symbols on the door tells that yonder is the Hall of Smithing and that peace in the Hall is kept by the children of the Earth.
The children of the Earth in the context it is mentioned means Earth elementals.

Sounds perfect!
Beowuuf laughs as he translates the runes, realising the way of Earth does indeed sound perfect for his Dwarfish ally. Also, the description sounds worryingly peaceful....
A suspicious mind may wonder what the trap would be...

"Excellent. We proceed through this door in the manner we discussed before. Watch my back," says Doomy, examining the door for its opening mechanism.

Beowuuf checks out those who are left, feinting boredom and interes in other doors.

Also, the description sounds worryingly peaceful.... Think you hit the nail's head with that one. Doomy has no problems at all to find the large handles which can be used to open the Earth door. Yonder is an enclosed small platform (3 x 3 metres) and you notice a rope hanging down from below. The platform is featureless apart from the rope. Nothing on the walls. Where walls meets floors there is a small gap on all four sides indicating to you that the platform can be raised and lowered.

eviltb studies the 2 journeymen carefully, then looks at the door just opened.
"So where prey tell does this lead? You saw what happened to the others who failed to answer my questions, so I would suggest you speak up!"

"Let's go. We'll need to use the platform together I think. Hopefully it will take our weight," says the dwarf, inspecting the ropes for signs of rot.

"It's a hall of fire elementals and spirits. They are keeping this place quiet and safe. Go ahead and take a look, it will probably answer most of your questions. If you still have some general queries I guess we could oblige with a couple of answers."
To his companion: "Come, let's get go into the Hall and have a look ourselves."

The rope is like new. There must be something which prevents it from rotting or deterioating. The material the rope is made of is unusual. It is not like any rope you have seen before.
The rope is fairly high up and you have to stretch to reach it. It is hanging down from a hole in the ceiling.
The effect of Beowuuf stepping onto the platform is not noticeable. The platform seems to be a very stable and solid construction and could easily take a few more persons at least.

If Doomy is happy, perhaps we can carefully listen to any sounds and slowly descend?
A paranoid part of me thinks taking weapons down might be a bad idea (especially if the smith has some to take incase of trouble) but I doubt Doomy would surrender his Bor Rifle and Beowuuf certainly isn't going to leave his bluesteel weapons lying around!
