Bearing in mind the rule you gave for potential Kai joining this game, what would you have in place for a Hunter, since we're similar. I would like to make more use of my abilities as a Hunter for this next game. Oh and cause Im Darkspawn I can already see in the dark

I would like to make more use of my abilities as a Hunter for this next game. Oh and cause Im Darkspawn I can already see in the dark Well, you will have lots of uses for your lenses which allows you to see heat then.... You will find that Light is the only way to circumvent the combat penalties. It is one thing to maintain some vision in darkness. Quite another to fight in darkness. You want to do that then you should have a feat called: Fighting in Darkness or perhaps Blind Fighting. Not sure if you mean the Kai Training feat. There is no feat for hunters, and if there were then you (and all other hunters) should have been required to take it. Perhaps better that you evolve the Hunters in their own direction. If you mean Hunter disciplines, then you can probably select one of these. Possibly two depending on the power-level of the individual disciplines.

Lenses: If you spend 2 activity, you can use the Lenses to see any nearby heat sources (infra-red vision).
Notice that Weapon Finesse increases the damage die for Fast weapons. Being able to use Speed instead of Strength is a property given by the Weapon. Not an ability you need to have.
The lack of adventurous Kai is rather noteworthy. Not a single Kai has entered any of my challenges.
Also: You now have a Satchel containing up to 3 Backpack spaces. Items you want to use quickly should be placed there.
I can offer a +3 vs Poison for a special.
Notice that the Backpack items you can carry over is very limited. You are generally assumed to have used Potions and other consumables, or they have simply spoilt over time. You do however gain new items for the Backpack as per the first post.
The only backpack items you can carry over is the grenade and the wand. You do have the oppurtunity to stock your backpack with whatever potions or herbs you may want before the mission, for example by selling off a few of your gems or your free Lune.
1 Book of Herbs: Returned and not available in this mission. 2 Flask of Healing Potionx2 (OK. You can have three but I will assume you swap one for three Laumspur as per below.) 1 Acid Flasks x4 (Assumed to have been used.) 1 Sleeping gas grenade. Sleep Mind DC: 6-9. Stays in a 3x3 area for 4 Rounds. OK 1 Wand of Fire. 6 charges. Uses Eye to hit. Damage: Mind d4 Fire. Single target. OK 1 Laumspurx3. +1d4 Health. Removes most poisons and diseases. OK. (But only restores 1d4 Health now) 1 Potion of Restoration (Neutralizes Disease) (Consumable. Assumed to have been used.)
You are also missing the free adventuring gear. Whetstone, water, food. Consider to take some things with you. You will only have what you mention here. Being able to repair your weapons means you will have to take a Whetstone.
Doomy, Gunner of Bor Strength:2, Speed:2, Eye:2, Mind:0
Specials: Gunner Training Rapid Reload Axe Specialisation Toughness
eviltb, NAK Grand Hunstsmaster Strength: 0, Speed: 3, Eye: 1, Mind: 2
Specials: Psychic attack: 1 Psychic defence: 1 Weapon Specialization (Fast weapons) Psychic fear affect Poison Resisant: +3 vs Poison
Beowuuf, Vakeros Knight Strength 2, Speed 1, Eye: 0, Mind 3
Specials: Psychic defense: 3 Power Attack Vakeros Power Words: Concussive Blast, Hold, Strength (The Power Diadem gives you access to the others.) Self Healing: +1 Health every two Rounds.

haha, given the beating I gave BlackCat in the last contest he did enter Im not suprised ;D
AS, I'll be taking the food, water ,whetstone, something to sleep in, lantern and oil and a tinderbox. Anychance a vendor has something like a kalte firesphere for sale? If so, that rather than the lantern. The satchel will contain the sleep grenade, wand and laumspur.

As for light: You could obtain a sun-rod which will last 100 rounds.
Extinguishing the light is possible but comes at a cost of 10 Rounds o duration. Failing that you need some fast method of hiding the light.
Stealthing while carrying light has a -3 penalty if in well lit areas and is impossible in dark areas.
The charge for this item is 50 Lune.

so the rod is always on? Ok i have an idea....
given the size of a sunrod, it should be possible to put this into a scroll tube (ie a long leather tube used for holding scrolls/maps etc). The idea being I can simply pop the lid off the tube and with a glass lens fitted over the top of tube, effectivly invent Magnamunds first torch. Do-able? And how much?

Hmmm... I guess so.
The scroll tube would need to take up a readied position. I guess you could attach it to the Satchel and let it count as one of the 3 spaces there and this will make it readied. There is no worn position which you could use for the satchel.
Since the sun-rod is alight rounds will (of course) pass normally for it while in the tube.
How do you finance the purchase? You will need to sell one or more of your gems to afford the 50 Lune.
We will start the game when our furry friend returns.

good stuff, replace the wand with the torch. Selling the Garnet and the Alexandrite leaves me 3 Lune short. I dont think I have any actual coin on me. Selling the Sapphire, Ruby or Diamond leaves me with too much Lune!

Back!
Let me get my bearings, I've actually started DMing a game elsewhere, and of course I have a work/web backlog to catch up on. Should be ok with my character by Thursday/Friday!

Selling the Sapphire, Ruby or Diamond leaves me with too much Lune! Actually, you have an allowance of 40 Lune cash so this would leave you with 37 Lune remaining.
