Sounds like an IBM-manufactured dildo.

I saw Watchmen today, thought it was excellent, even if they got the name of the superhero team wrong - they're the Minutemen, dammit!

I thought it was a choice to have the Minutemen as the first team, and the watchmen as the second team in order to tie the title to the group a little better Bad enough for new audiences it's a superhero movie that's not actually about superheroes

I don't recall the name "Minutemen" ever being mentioned in the film, though the second-generation group was referred to as the Watchmen.

Speaking of Hollis' house, did you notice that a certain scene that takes place there in the book wasn't in the film at all? I sense an extended Blu-Ray edition.

Ah, the days when every single film rated above a U could be counted on to contain one sex scene. It was a painfully predictable time.

Sadly the one in Lethal Weapon 1 was cut out, it would have been too much in those racist homphoebic days. Lethal Weapon 2 had to include a hetrosexual love scene as per movie contracts to disguise the real overtones of the ending Doomy: Sadly (or gladly), I haven't read the graphic novels yet! I never did, then whe nthe film was on the horizon I assumed I'd never go see the flm, so read in to the story of watchmen and went 'woah'. So I kinda know all about the novels without knowing them. So hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised by the extended version, unless it is Blu-Ray only

Doomy, "I" know the scene you're talking about, and somehow I just don't think it's going to make it in. They didn't build up any of the events which ultimately lend that event power. I DO know the comic-within-a-comic was filmed, and will be included in the extended version. Samildanach, I'm glad you agree. I felt I HAD to give this one to the 80's. Collectively they deserve it... just barely.

Tales of the Black Freighter does an Animatrix by coming out as a "companion" release next month.

If this means anything to either of you: Derf will be played by actor Patrick Sabongui in the upcoming film.
Since to my knowledge he was not in the original, he may be in the director's cut.

Without dropping spoilers, I can say that character appears in the scene to which I have been alluding.
