Round 0. Location: A-1.
You are escorted to one of the approaches to the Crystal Beacon. Your escort informs you earlier today there was a conflict with the natives in that area, and there has also been much fighting between the annihilators and the natives here.
Your escort warns you that due to the earlier conflict you should expect the natives you meet here to be hostile towards you, and they are still in control of the area.
Your escort bids you farewell and leaves.
Before you is a small stone watchtower. (A3). Elsewhere around you where you stand and to the west is dense shrubbery and many bushes. Along the ground is a greenish mist, origin unknown.

drop into stealth using 2 free points, move to tower, examine tower door (check traps/locked), use 3 activity for searching
As my escort leaves, I take a look around. At least this time I am not up to my legs in slime. Still, this green mist is unsettling, even for someone like myself. I am aware that my "companions" have started around the same time as myself. Checking my weapons I head towards the obvious stone tower in front of me.

There is no door in the tower, it is an open area quite small. It is just about a dozen stone steps leading up to a battered and mostly moss and lichen covered area of stone.
The tower might work or have worked as a lookout tower.

oh ok then, make my way in and stealth up the steps? Keeping hidden, try and see what I can see from the top of the tower.

I assume you make a ranged search.
Is this to the SOUTH or to the EAST?

Can I do both? Since Im sitting there doing not very much, can I take 4 act to make a search in both directions? Or just take 2 rounds to do a ranged search in both directions if I dont have enough act? Of course remaining stealthed and pumping remaing act into perception.

You have one Ranged search per round. If you want to spend two rounds on the tower you can do both.

I'll do that then thanks
so to summarize...
- 2 Perception on Stealth (free +3 activity) - Ranged search East (1+3 activity)
then....
- 2 Perception on Stealth (free +3 activity) - Ranged search South (1+3 activity)

May I suggest that you make a Search location for your remaining activity the first round? It is basically free since you have the activity to spare for it. It is actually dangerous to stay in some squares or move about them without doing location searches. They are no longer automatic.
