Must say I'm surprised that you all think the Unknown items is the more desirable ones.
As for the Belt of Vengenace, the damage it returns is the damage you actually take, after damage reductions... and it doesn't apply to ranged, magical ranged, Area of Effect attacks or similar.
You can wear rings with gloves, no problem.

Actually, I think I'll change my choices. Will choose Dwarf for RP reasons, Knight will be my second choice.

Hmm, well if I take the gauntlets then I get the heavy cloves to protect again any weird herb discoveries or handling some other trapped thing, and I get the stat item

My own inclination of what is best for you.
Doomy: Dwarf then Knight
eviltb: Archer then Dwarf
Bewouuf: Archer (at least if you don't start with the Gauntlets) and then hmmm probably Unknown. A thought is that you might be better off to start with a Ring of Regeneration or take a Necklace of Alertess instead of the Strength item so you do not have two Gloves/Gauntlets later on.
Trasken: Unknown and Knight. Not in any particular order.

I can also recommend taking some tools with you. Scissors and pliers for instance. The Gauntlets of Strength and Stunning Gloves will not protect against thorny plants and the like. I guess I can add scissors and pliers to the inventory slot for Magnifying Glass and just label it as tools, still taking 1 item.

Heh, I saw it and just had to go for it - I imagine it was a gift from eviltb You can ask for protective gloves as a free item. I can also recommend taking some tools with you. Scissors and pliers for instance. I guess I can add scissors and pliers to the inventory slot for Magnifying Glass and just label it as tools, still taking 1 item. Cheers, sounds good!

Are you tracking stuff like meals during the contest? I dont remember you doing so before on the other challenges, but doesnt hurt to check. Dont need a torch cause I can see in the dark (Darklander!). Got any spare acid flasks?? Should add a rope as well.

Dont need a torch cause I can see in the dark (Darklander!). Got any spare acid flasks?? Should add a rope as well. You won't need any meal for your own consumption. There might be clever uses for it in other ways, just as there might be good uses for most items even though it doesn't have a detailed description of benefits. Acid Flasks would normally be counting as herb items. However, seeing that you are a Kai Hunter I might be willing to let you have some on the grounds that it is a Kai Hunter class item, i.e. the Kai Hunters would have brought them since they would be prone to use them... I guess you are the only Kai Hunter posting here regularly so I guess you can make the decision on that. I can offer you a stock of 6 Vials (2 inventory spaces) if you go for this.

Seeing that Dharn hasn't posted here I'm inclined to give you the following allocation (without rolling dice):
- Beowuuf, Unknown - Doomy, Dwarf - eviltb, Archer - Trasken, Knight
That way each of you get one of your asked for allocations and each of you get one of your good choices, IMO.

Hmmm, well given the limited amount of text available for a NAK, I couldnt actually say lol. But then again, I could say that acid would be something a Kai Hunter would use! So I'll take those vials, thanks very much
