This sounds like extra micro-management which will slow things down without any real bearing on tactics. I'm the trigger-happy one of the group, yet only ever fired a few shots in any given encounter. So what the above sounds like it would do is just result in my moving boompowder around between combats, rather than running out during fights or whatever effect you're trying to achieve here. Not so much micro-management as it might seem. 1 readied space = 5 Boompowder. You would need to use this perhaps once or possibly twice during an adventure. That is unless you trasfer Boompowder each time, but I don't really see the need to transfer any until your readied stock is at something like 1 or 2 or below. There would be two or three spaces in the Satchel. Basically, it is a place to keep items you need to access fast rather than digging into backpack each time. Herbs, Potions, Wands and Grenades would also use this slot.

Weapon maintenace. Tools: Whetstone and more. Takes up 1 space in backpack. Repair Weapon: 5 activity per point repaired and requires access to tools.

Might be an idea for you all to make one last post or two to the IC thread * attempts to blow off some dust from the old thread *
Hmmm.... may make one or two posts there myself.
