This sounds like extra micro-management which will slow things down without any real bearing on tactics. I'm the trigger-happy one of the group, yet only ever fired a few shots in any given encounter. So what the above sounds like it would do is just result in my moving boompowder around between combats, rather than running out during fights or whatever effect you're trying to achieve here.
Not so much micro-management as it might seem.
1 readied space = 5 Boompowder.
You would need to use this perhaps once or possibly twice during an adventure. That is unless you trasfer Boompowder each time, but I don't really see the need to transfer any until your readied stock is at something like 1 or 2 or below.
There would be two or three spaces in the Satchel. Basically, it is a place to keep items you need to access fast rather than digging into backpack each time.
Herbs, Potions, Wands and Grenades would also use this slot.
fast = May use Speed instead of Strength for attack roll. brittle = Weapon is damaged on 0 and 1 for the attack roll. Other weapons are damaged only on 0. 1 activity = It costs only one activity to make an attack. Normal cost: 2 activity 2 Hands = Takes up two weapon slots.
Weapon Specialization increases the specialized weapon's damage die as follows: d6 to d10 d5 to d8 d4 to d6 d3 to d4
Weapon maintenace. Tools: Whetstone and more. Takes up 1 space in backpack. Repair Weapon: 5 activity per point repaired and requires access to tools.
