I'm happy to call this my finalized equipment list. If I find any healing potions lying around presumably I can decant them into the flask as it's not full.

You are not the first to try to enter the area. While we were engaged in the Shadowgate Shootout another group of heroes tried to destroy the crystal beacon.
All contact has since died out and they are believed to have been killed and their equipment scattered.
They carried:
Dwarf: Necklace of Alertness: +1 Eye Bor Rifle with 20 Boompowder (Some of the Boowmpowder is no doubt used now) Belt of Retribution: Deals 1 Psychic Damage to anyone who successfully hit you in melee.
Mercenary Knight: Ring of Regeneration: +1 Health every 2 Rounds. Belt of Power: +1 to all Stats. Cost: 1 damage per Round and 2 activity to activate. Fire War Axe: 2-Handed, +1 to Attack, 1d6+1 Fire. Condition: 10/10 (May have been damaged)
Unknown Belt of Vengeance. Any melee damage dealt to the wearer is also dealt to the person who dealt it. Stunning Gloves: Successful unarmed attacks gains a damage bonus of +1 Electrical and a DC:6 Stun effect. Amulet vs. Poison: +2 when making checks vs. Poison
Expert archer: Longbow with pull 1 and 20 Arrows Archer's Bracers: +2 to Attack when using a Bow. Gloves of Strength: +1 Strength Belt of Reaction: +2 Activity per Round.
Last report from them all was that they were about half-way to the area around the beacon.
Please indicate which of these 4 areas you would prefer to enter, indicate a first choice and a second choice.
(Random numbers on invisible castle will be rolled to determine who gets to enter which area.)

You mean enter an area where these bodies and loot are already?? There is four different areas for you. One corpse in each area, close to the centre of the area. So each of you will not find more than one of these corpses and the items the person carried.

Go where the unknown was last known to have been. Scared though...I have a funny feeling he might still be alive!
Oh, could I get a pair of heavy duty thick gloves? If so, can I wear them with a ring, or would i need to put them in my backpack and take them out if needed, swapping with the ring?
Edit: 2nd - 2nd dwarf aswell!

Suprising. Thought you'd go for the Dwarf first so I changed my mind and put Unknown first.... Thought you would have want to recover said firearm from your fellow lest you let a Darklander get hold of it AGAIN! edit- rite so we're ALL going for the same thing???!!!!

Actually for me its the extra ammo and the Eye necklace. And the rifle just in case. Could be a nice little story between us again with the rifle.....

I suppose for RP reasons I should go after the fallen Dwarf. I'll just have to get the Belt off your corpse.

Is anyone worried that the unknown is an unknown, has cool armour, and that these guys aren't definitely dead?
Two Tier III critters standing on each other's shoulders, that's what it will be!
