Looks like one of the non-Imperial frigates to me; possibly the Amraan one considering the black hull color.

So it looks like I have some bizarre NPCs to look forward to. Another one of those black ships attacked me while I was away, and sunk me on the third attempt.  If anyone of the appropriate level range is into PvP, might I suggest attacking Thousand Sunny, captained by Monkey D Ferry? He's level 27. |

Keep track of those people who are using those cheaper frigates, Doomy, because you may be able to squish them in turn fairly regularly once past level 30 or so.  Aquila Saber is one of only a very few I have encountered who has definitely made that frigate-class ship work well. Most are lured (and gulled) by its cheaper price and lower required level. Sorry, though (and because) I could squish a level 27-er like a bug, I am too high a level to attack him.  If you think THOSE random encounter ships are odd, just wait...  |

This game has a sense of humour. Having just bid 20,000 for a War Ram figurehead, I immediately found... a War Ram figurehead!
And Maerin, I appreciate that you're too high-level for this particular assassination. EvilTB, on the other hand, may hopefully be interested...

Players can only attack others in the same Port. The War Ram Figurehead usually goes for far more tham 20k. I looked for one for quite some time before buying one as per below. You should hope you win that auction and then out it up for auction again with a higher minimum price than you paid for it. You have won the bid for War Ram Figurehead (Cost: 90000 gold). |

He must be using the Aegis which requires level 25. I'm using the Merchant O'War which requires level 30, so he could not be using that ship. |

I hit whatever level I needed to buy an aerodynamic hull, so I've moved to the Jade Archipegalo for now.
