Hey guys, bringing back the Video Gaming Thread. So...is anyone else excited about Star Wars: The Force Unleashed? I'm stoked.

I'm somewhat excited. Should be fun on the Wii. But I'm always a little dubious about Starwars games.
Right now I'm playign a lot of Smash Brothers: Brawl. I've also gone back to some old classics, like Secret of Mana and Ocarina of Time.
Just picked up a copy of Fatal Frame II that I'm itching to play. But have to wait until night, of course!

The Wii is the only system I don't have. I've been tempted to pick one up; perhaps I should one of these days.
But as far as the Force Unleashed goes I plan on definitely getting it for the Playstation 3. The nice thing about the PS3 and the Xbox360 is that those consoles can support DMM and Euphoria.
As far as games I'm playing right now I am playing Call of Duty 4 and Turok for the Playstation 3.

Played the Turok demo on my (now replaced) 360, thought it was "meh". Mass Effect was amazing though, despite the dull driving bits. GTA IV is due out this month(!) and the fact that Fallout 3 is in the works has me playing number 2 again.

I'm planning a "Classic video game night" with my friend next week. That is, a night were we will play NES, SNES and perhaps Game Boy games on the Super Game Boy. ;D Oh, I'm currently trying to finish FFXII:RW on the DS. I did the mistake to complete all the missions BEFORE taking care of the main bad guy... Now, he's at level 99 and my best character is at level 74... Time for some grinding!

Finished Mass Effect twice, including the DLC that was brought out. Very good indeed. Rocking my way through Zelda Phantom Hourglass on the DS and No More Heroes on the Wii. VERY excited about the new Mario Kart and looking forward to GTA4 on the 360, and Force Unleashed when it eventually gets here. Literally just about to start playing Lost Odyssey on the 360, the disc is in the drawer and closing....Oooh title screen!! *wibble*

I am keyed up though for FFXIII (more Versus than the other): XIII: www.gametrailers.com/player/29007.htmlXIII Versus: www.gametrailers.com/player/29006.html

I recently played Tomb Raider Legend and restarted Tomb Raider Anniversary. I am still playing my trusty The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind though - it's endlessly replayable!

I lost interest in Morrowind. There was a feeling of never ending despair that I wasn't actually doing anything. Just running around exploring a pretty bleak environment.
But Fatal Frame 2... hands down scariest game I've played.
Now I haven't played the lauded Condemned, or even Fatal Frame 1. But I started Fatal Frame 2 in earnest last night, and never have I been so uncomfortable in a game. What a great concept, having to stand still and let your fears approach you.
It's a real face your fears kinda game. And since Ghosts are the only supernatural thing that frightens me, I lose about five years off my life every time I play.
On another topic, I continue to contest that Silent Hill 2 is one of the most overatted games of all time. Though I did like the movie.

I've also gone back to some old classics, like Secret of Mana and Ocarina of Time. Mmm, Secret of Mana. I'm currently playing FFVII (never did finish it the first time), Front Mission 3 (because I never played through the Alisa storyline), and Etrian Odyssey on DS.

Great! Crisis Core kicks ass! Recently I tried to grind Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma, now I'm completely glued to Burnout Paradise
