Me, I wasn't thinking of anything bad of you. I was more worried about this sudden silence. Did he get killed in a car accident? Did his house burned? Was he abducted by aliens? Stuff like that... My regard for the Portugese mail services took a hit though... -GB

Ok, so the girl at the local post office told me she was going to track it; she didn't know what the problem was and told me to wait a phone call today; i haven't received it, so i'll have to go there again tomorrow. I'm too tired to put an adequate angry thought on this, but you get the picture. On a different note, thanks y'all for the kind words. It's good to be back )

I guess there is no point trying to fix the blame on anyone. The main issue is to see the book safely through to UK.
Welcome back, Izziel!

I can only imagine what you people were thinking of me and that saddens me the most... Me, I wasn't thinking of anything bad of you. I was. I was thinking, That useless, good-for-nothing, guitar-playing bozo! Just because he's, like, really cool playing gigs with his band, he's probably posted it the morning after a late night and sent to the Antarctic or something! What an idiot! ;D Nah - although I knew the book was kind of in limbo, I'd actually sort of lost track of where it was last. I was, however, wondering where you'd got to, so it's good to know all is well! And it's excellent to see you back! What have you actually been up to?

;D Thanks man. What i have been up to? As for the "real" life I am finishing my course this October, and started job-hunting since my arrival, so it's been stressful. After being "drafted" to the deep north, for a summer season job, i had to stop with several extra activities, and writing/performing music with others was one. However... I have a new project now. Something that one of my best friends (drummer) and i have been talking for ages: it's called HELLFIRE (a cute name, lol). We are putting together some song ideas that he and i have written over the years (very old-school, gritty rock, kinda like AC/DC, early Sabbath, Motorhead and Danzig in one band). Primitive and dark Rock n' Roll as we put it, lol. We rehearsed tonight, and i'm pretty excited- it's been ages since i played in a really agressive manner ;D Loving it. And my 3 year old son really likes Kiss (yay) On Topic: I went to the post today and got pretty much the same answer: she would still have to track the package, had made a request for the main distribution center and had to wait for their reply. She assured me that i would have an answer by the end of the week, but if the package had left Portugal, it might take up till next MONDAY!!! because they had to wait for the British service to respond. Again, i'm sorry and ashamed that this happend on my turn, but i can't possibly imagine what went wrong here, except for their (portuguese or british post services) screwing up.

I'm still ready to blame the great british post service for this one No Way! Our mighty Royal Mail would never make a mistake of that kind... Oh no. Wait. Yes they would. -GB

Oh no, it won't end like this... I'm pretty sure that it will reach its destination in 60 years. You've never heard stories about letters being sent during WWII and getting to their destination 50 years later?

Ok i just received the most reassuring phonecall: the book is NOT LOST It's in Lisbon, "stuck" in the distribution center. Apparently, there's some problem with the package, but the person who called me couldn't tell me what was it exactly. It will be delivered to me on Monday, they told me. Phew...

Yes, i will post it as soon as it is in my hands... for the 3rd time. EDIT- What I find the most annoying, is the fact that they NEVER told me about it (by phone or letter), instead waited for a contact of mine; like, if i didn't say anything, they wouldn't say me either. Sorry for the blunt language, but these "services" deserve some painful, "a la Darklands", Sodomy treatment.
