Reaction vs. Doomy. (Higher number is better.) (1d10-1=8) Hmmm... that's favourable.... The Vassagonian gives you smile, looks around to ensure no one is too close and then says in a low voice. "Take a look at the floor towards the end of the Hall. There are many more plates to be found there."

Actually, no, I think Bewouuf will interrupt...
"Greetings," says Beowuuf, "I am sorry to interrupt your work, but I saw you might be persuaded to work for an item of trade?"

The dwarf is busy and ignores you.
The Salonese addresses you.
"Either you know why and have found the item to trade, or you need to find it. In the former case take your turn and wait, and in the latter case you have no business here!"
"Aye," the smith mutters.
( I'd strongly advice not to press the query further. Continuing to disturb will risk turning the Salonese and Smiths reactions from neutral to unfavorable. )

Beowuuf has many questions on what is going on, but seeing the unfavourable reaction gives up in disgust and leaves, continuing his search.

The gunner thanks the Vassagonian for his advice and continues on his inspection.
Continue moving as before (I was headed to that end of the hall anyway I think) with max search, as before.

eviltb: Sent you a PM a few days ago with what you see.
Beowuuf: They are still neutral... but you were queue jumping.
Earth Hall is not the proper place to be queue jumping. Patience is held in high regards and you did not show any.

Actally, all he was doing was asking a question about how the system works, understandable given the fact people might not be able to decipher the syllables. He didn't mention about trading anything specifically, just if the dwarf would work for trade. If people want to get snooty without explaining the system to a newcomer, then that's their fault!
Beowuuf would like to know why the tomb has such a regimented system to let people into the inner halls, and why the dwarf is working there in the first place. However, no point in creating a scene for now, so he'll just keep searching.

Repeating my question:
Are you primarily looking at the interiors, the ceiling, the walls, the floor or spreading out your attentions between all? Something of the above you are not looking at during this sweep ?
What things would motivate your character to look more closely at something ?
Also which part of the hall are you looking at?
Dividing the Hall in 12 parts for you. You are currently at C4. Each of these larges are fairly large.
West <- --> East N1 N2 N3 N4 (North) C1 C2 C3 C4 (central) S1 S2 S3 S4 (South)

There is no need to create a scene. Just wait until the Salonese customer is served. There is currently no one else there.
BUT ... onwards it is. Same methods as before or you are now skipping fire and forge parts?

well if I start at C4, looking along the shelves and high up above archways (if there are any), if I use my full act for the search, then move to the next section if I dont see anything of interest

eviltb looks upwards and sees a fair amount of people climbing up to the ceilings, and while others are already there.
There are routes to climb up no matter which way you to take.
You cannot discern details of what is making these people climb up. Whatever is up there it will be fairly small in size.
There are only two shelves near you and both of them are mostly filled with leatherbound books.

Beowuuf continues south. The next section is filled with Ale kegs and Ale casks placed on the floor and on large sturdy shelves.
There is but one person in this area: a sturdily built and short young woman. By her build and facial features you take a guess that she's a drodarin.
When you enter the area she starts running and jumping along the tiled floor, tracing a pre-laid route with stones and other markers. She reaches a small ball, bends down and throws it at a casket which has been placed atop a table by the wall.
The floor in this section has been cleared from the debris which litter most other sections of the floor.
Looking towards the central area of the room, you spot the Mercenary captain who has resumed the rather fruitless labour of crafting .. whatever he is crafting.
