Likewise," says Beowuuf, making sure his weapons re sheathed and his hands are away frm them. Not, of course, too far away from them...
Ca I put a few points into stealth? For paranoia's sake, no magical aid for now from power words.

Doomy and Beowuuf enters the hall. You are left to do what you want for now.
I need some form of general directions of where you want to go, what you want to do, or what type of things you will be looking for, or if you will look for persons of one type or another.
The Grand Hall of Earth is quite large. In the centre is one large work bench where many work on anvils (you cannot make out who they are or even what at this distance). The work bench stretches for nearly the full length of the hall, and this place is more than 50 metres long and perhaps 20 metres wide. The ceiling is at least 10 metres up but it is difficult to tell since it is mostly shrouded in darkness with no light coming from it.
To either side of the small work bench are small tables, shelves and cauldrons which provide an eerie green light.
There are also some deposits of materials ready to be forged.

I think we would be looking for a on-worker, perhaps to speak to? Certainly investigate what they are forging, and see what they are forging it with (without touching the raw materials)

So move to the first worker(s) and find out what they are doing?

The first worker you come upon is clad in the livery of Lyris.
He is trying to shape an iron bar into something, but you can see that he is not having much progress. He notices you and glances at you a bit irritatedly before resuming work.
"You haven't got better things to do than to watch me?" he asks.

"Yes, but I don't know how to do it yet," says the wolf. "We're looking for a supervisor to ask some questions of?"

"Supervisor ?" the man blinks. "There are no supervisors here. The elementals do not speak. I wish the Captain was all wrong about this crafting business. "

"The elementals are compelling you to craft? asks Beowuuf, uncertain of the meaning of the man. "Where is your Captain?"

"Not really, but there doesn't seem to be another way to leave this hall."
"You'll find the captain further down the table. Can't miss him. You'll hear him before you see him."

"Would you like some help with that?" asks Doomy. "I am an excellent smith, if I say it myself."

Beowuuf leaves Doomy to aid the crafting, keeping an eye on the dwarf, while walking off to look for the Captain.

eviltb: What are you looking (out) for ? You will not glean much information by an unspecified search. Looking for something specific will give you more information. Im not sure really, just do a ranged search into the area ahead of me I guess

eviltb: Roll 5 x 1d10-1 on IC for perception then.
Doomy:
The man lightens up briefly, but then slumps. "It must be me, that crafts it. But thanks nonetheless"
Beowuuf:
Even before you meet the captain you realize what the soldier was aiming at, since there is a long uninterrupted stream of profanity coming from a man along the work bench.
When you ask what is wrong, the Captain is only too happy to leave the table and show you what is wrong. He leads you to a door in the far exit of the room, and asks you to take a look yourself.
There is a long text by the side. If you want to deceipher it roll 1d10-1 on IC, if you do not you can take a closer look at the exit.
