Just learned that a new concert will be created, Distant Worlds II, with the premiere in June 2010 in Stockholm (where the first one premiered too in 2007). Of course, a new CD will also be released. My guess is that they will take the most popular songs of the first concert ( One-Winged Angel, Terra's Theme) and officially add other ones that they have inserted here and there over the past few concerts: Man With A Machine Gun, FFVII Main Theme, that new FFXIV track, Dancing Mad... On a related note, we almost all know of OCREmix and, well, their remixes. However, I came upon a guy, Saitama Saishu Heiki (or SSH), doing metal remixes on Youtube with classic games. The Super Mario Bros. Theme, the boss battle them from FFVI or the swinging Johnny C. Bad, again from FFVI (the song certain inn and at the Colosseum). From that last link, I came upon the hilarious Ultros Boogie by Hyadain. This guy makes several funny songs in Japanese with popular music from video games and you can find them with English subtitles on Youtube. Other of his songs are the Four Lords of Elements and the Super Mario World theme. However, all of his songs are not just funny. My first friend is a very touching remix made with the... Dr. Mario theme song!

A little threadnomancy here.
Someone made a mention in the precedent page that the Distant Worlds concert hadn't been presented in Tokyo. This will be no longer the case since they will present two different shows on November 6 and 7.
After that, they are coming back to Canada, this time in Toronto, on November 27, and I'll be there! Yep, my second Distant World concert after the one in Vancouver. This time, I'll be able to see the giant screen since I'll be seating way in the back of the place, in one of the middle rows. I'll be going with the friend I gave the t-shirt from the concert that I bought at the Vancouver show.
And Uematsu will be in the house! Yeah!
