Lol, excellent!
Hmm, quiet? Maybe too quiet....
Ok, I know you said to try to hurry in general, but I am aware of two groups of potential enemies. Will make one more step to the next lettered square towards the natives, with stealth +3, and a +3? search check on the square i find myself on.

You can make out two warriors standing side by side on G-2 NW. None of the two appear to have noticed you yet.

Hmm, stealth +3 and check the plants with the infamous book of herbs!
I'd also like to cast power word: eye for three turns.
Will put any remaining points in to a ranged search to ensure I am still un-noticed by the two warriors!

stealth to f1 for +3, investigate herbs. I think that leaves me enough for a basic check on the behaviour of the people on G-2

Using the Book of Herbs Beowuuf realizes just in time that the plants are carnivourous and dangerous even for a for a creture of his size.
Hastily he manages to dodge the creepers and vines that slowly had been gathering around his feet.
It is not safe for you to stay on this square. You have to move out next round or fight the plant.

I'll risk the natives or whoever they are not noticing me again for one more turn and see what's what with the herbs please! For all I know this square has something nice and tactical to use agins them. Or more healing!

LOL, wow, I guess this book of herbs wasn't too bad an investment after all!
Hmm, can I stealth move to G-2 without ill effects from the plant?
I will risk the two natives, after all they might be persuadable... and I will cast power word: strength for 3 Mana just incase they aren't!

How do you go about appraoching them ?
Do you say something ? Make sounds so they notice you ? Move up on them quietly ? Try to eavesdrop on them ?

Hmm, good question. Too covert, and if they spot me it won't go over well, but if they are hostile anyway, getting as close as possible would be an idea.
I think eavesdropping is the name of the game here... move quietly under cover and get close enough to see if I can glean anything from them (through talk, or small details for their dress). If they have wolf skulls on their belt, I think I will forgo the hellos!
