Actually, rants are loved the world wide. I would go with a rant.

Has anyone tried their hands at a review yet?

I submitted a question asking if they can include a browser game section, and haven't got around to a DM review yet - maybe this weekend

As I mentioned in the Online Games topic, I was about to write a review of Talisman Online but there doesn't seem to be a section for it. I could review something else I suppose.

Actually, the browser based game - Kingdom of Loathing - already had a section under System -> PC -> K
Can I suggest you go to the same but T and submit your review there?

Yeah, we definitely review browser games and freeware. They probably should get their own section, but for now they are lumped under PC or MAC, respectively.

The specific games aren't listed though, and the note at the bottom of the page says if I want a game added to the list I have to submit it to the forum for consideration. Maybe I will, but tonight I can't be bothered.

Give it to me. I'll submit it and have it ready to go soon.

Thanks. I'd better write it then.

I know what I want to write, but can't seem to log in despite having had my account application previously accepted. Hmmm, confusing. Re-entering the information it claims is missing, I get the message "username already taken". Yes, it was. By me.

That doesn't make any sense.
It's funny... the site has never had problems until I try to get my friends interested. That's me and technology, I swear.
Anyway, you could either reregister under a different name or contact Jason (the site owner). He'll be able to take care of it right quick:

You know what makes even less sense? I just got in with no problems.

Ok, I only have a bit more work to do, and then I'm free for a while. So I'd like to get to work on writing reviews of Talisman Online and Shaiya, maybe Conquer Online as well. Still haven't figured out the thing with the list though. It says 'if you want a game added to the list, mention it in this forum topic', then links to a feedback topic for some guy's review. I hate to say it, but the Honest Gamers website seems really user unfriendly. Also, 'we're crying out for new staff reviewers, it's a lot of work and you need to be professional and apply to us as though for a job, but we won't give you anything'? Are they amateur or professional? They can't be both. If they don't pay or otherwise reward staff reviewers, surely the only difference between staff and random member reviewers is that staff are held to higher standards? What a weird operation these people run...

The site got big enough to get hit by a couple hacks, we're recovering well, but there's a couple link bugs still in. I'm sure everyone here can understand that.
And freelance and staff reviewers get free games sent to them for review. User reviewers don't.
