Some here might have forgotten me, or some may remind me as well. It's been a while I didn't come here or having swim in the LW universe. I was used to go on Winterhawk's Tower of the sun website and then here. Some of my time was going too on Project Aon's website as well. Long time ago! Good old fun and souvenir are far away but never forgotten.

So whats ups with you guys? You are still alive and making this forum still alive, which is a pretty good thing. I had hit back on this forum cause I was looking back for a videogame on LoneWolf and I was wondering what was going on with this one! I saw this trailer from this Italian co. and coming up in 2013 but haven't find anything else, so I was wondering if you might know more about this?

And, what's going in the Lonewolf's universe theses days?

There was an interview regarding the game with JD, but I can't recall exactly what was said about it, I'm afraid. Black Cat seems to have a good memory and insight in to all of these things!

And this surrogate forum was establsh by SilentHunter (if I rememenber his name well). Is he still around? And waht about Winterhawk himself?

Winterhawk talked abotu restorign the site, but then got involved in Hockey stuff and disappeared (well, he was on facebook, I just stopped following)

KaiLord/SFallen Angel is still around the web - he makes very rare appearances on the Mongoose boards, but is active on Facebook.

Simey is also around, but mostlly on RPoL where we're still running some Lone Wolf RPG games.

Zipp has managed to get himself busy with cool stuff, so is still active on Facebook but sadly had to bow out of running./participating in RPoL games

Things are, sadly, quiet round here these days. I hope to frequent the place more when soon not travelling four hours a day to work - I hope to still see you around!

Because I'm back from the dead and you shall taste my wraith Simey of Durenor...hum...hum...United Kingdom...hum...hum, for your betrayal and good acting skill....euh...wait...said nothing! But really! What happened to me in the WW treads? Don't worry, NH is dead and six feet under. Unless, if....I come back from the dead. Hahaha! The new Undertaker, yeah! Are you like, my Paul Bearer, Simey? Maybe we can complot together, Simey and kidnapping Miss Middleton? To keep her just with us, she doesn't need William. He's a bad boy with her. Bad I said! ***Don't take me seriously, it's for RPG purpose***

Well, I haven't told about myself yet. During the last 2 and halfish years that I wasn't around, I get a new job as a professionnal loss prevention position at Purolator Inc., one of the best Canadian freight and parcel delivering compagny. This private compagny is own by 96percent-ish by the Canadian Post. A very good compagny. For what I'm doing right now, it's almost a custom officer job, as I scan the employee or visitors with a Garret when they are passing trought the metal detector or I'm using a X-Ray machine to scan bags. But in the upcoming next weeks, I'm going on a part-time job at the same place for having time to go back in school. I'm expecting a course in investigation in private security this fall. Well, somehow, this course will help me to become a private detective or investigator but in my case, I'm doing it for getting some chance to apply to an assistant manager position at Purolator. There is some minor too at the university that I might follow afterwards.

Instead of this, nothing special, except that today. I manage to found out my problem with my new rig. I have build a new PC with an Intel 3570K CPU, an Asus P8Z77-V Pro, an 8 GB of G.Skill Ripjaws-X 2133Mhz memory kit and Windows 64 bits edition. My problem was having the system unable to boot. Like the boards and the fans was going in for a second and they shuting down and going on again, shuting down again. A neverending cycle. So I manage today to spot that my PSU was bad, but only with this board. Yesterday, I was testing it with my old computer's parts, on an another computer or even jumping start it with succes but finally, I wasn't able to get it working with my new board. I have used an old PSU that was going with an old P4 CPU and this last one just work fine with my new board. So today, I have bought a new PSU, a Corsair TX750, and right now, I'm using this wonderful....oh look the butterfly and the sunlight reflecting on the lake....machine that is magically working up fabulously...for being able to write this post.

How good is to have someone of the Old Guard come back!

I still manage to lurk around the forum sometimes but, as Al said most of the fire has gone as we haven't the same bustling activity we used to have.

Sounds good NH! I'm still working in Basingstoke at the same place, though had my own flat for the last three years, so yay!

As for killing off your character in the West Watch... well, when you changed your avatar to Blazing Saddles I think you asked for him to be killed off, so we had this heroic death planned where you fought off but ultimately died taking on a flood of Chaos creatures from the Daziarn, at the head of the Knights' Council. However, I don't recall writing that scene, nor do I recall Simey writing it, so for the moment it is off camera I believe... so it doens't have to have happened at all and NH can live on


Yes, the board is far quieter as everyone is busy, but across the various forums there is still activity. And certainly, no other forum has the ability to be such an off topic place, or have such eclectic threads and this forum. So I think it still has a place. You only really need a couple of members posting regularly to bring some life!

Phantomdoodler still posts LW flavours on RPG systems, for example!

Welcome back! And yes, like everybody here think, we don't have a very active community right now because we lack a real website to go with these forums.

As for myself, I've been quiet this past month because I was moving to a new home and renovating it. It was a long job but now it is almost done.
