You step into the next room.
You immediately notice that there is no apparent exit from this room. Alicia informs you that the tracks leads to somewhere opposite and is confident that you will find out how to proceed.
This room has a small stone table in the centre with small stone chairs around it. Some smaller tables and furniture are placed around the room.
A couple of small lanterns provide some lighting in this room.
This room looks clean. No corpses or other apparent loot lie about. It is not overgrown either but has been kept tidy.

Melor quickly rushed to the table and inspect it for anything weird on it.

The table has some engravings and intricate texts.
Deceiphering the text and studying the engraved motifs you arrive to the conclusion that this table has been used for handling sacrifice victim, preparing them for undead experiments.
Looking at the table, you have the feeling that there might be something else of interest nearby. If nothing else a warm feeling from a certain tome which you carry in your pack would indicate as much.
Meanwhile, Alicia has found the secret door leading out of this room.

"Wait... there's something here..." Melor looked around franctically. "Help me look for it..."

Alicia helps you to take a cursory look at the room.
You do not find anything directly, but you are still left with the feeling that there is something here, but what?
If you want to continue to search then there are a couple of things that looks promising that you could examine closer: - A chest of drawers along one of the walls. - The four lanterns, one of which are placed on each of the walls - Two tall candle sticks, each placed in one corner - One of the stone chairs which looks a little different than the others.

"There's something here... something here... I could feel it..." Melor said as his eyes darted to and fro.
Melor check the drawers.

The drawers turn out to be a disappointment. There might have been something of interest there once; holes in the dust on some shelves indicates that something was kept there until recently. But now nothing remains.
You want to continue checking?
Alicia is keeping watch by the secret door and is also watching the other entrance.

Melor would check the stone chair before finally giving up.

The stone chair has some inscriptions on it. They match those of the table. This chair was used by the person performing the sacrifices on the table.
Closer inspection reveals that it has some wooden part which opens into a small cache. This cache is currently empty.
While the chair provided some additional information and was an interesting object, it does not provide anything of real value.
After you have concluded looking at the chair, Alicia asks:
"Are you looking for something in particular? You seem to be acting as if you were missing something."

"Ah... Have you ever reread a book and felt that you might have skipped a page or two? The gnawing feeling that something is wrong but you can't put a finger on it? One thinks there is something here but there seemed to be none. Nevermind... let's go..."
Reluctantly, Melor went to the secret door and goes into the next room.

The next room is a small overgrown garden with subterranean vegetation. A small pool of water is located in the centre of the room.
Two sparsely trodden paths to either side of the pool exist.
Judging by the vegetation, someone routinely looks after it.
The illumination in this room is dim. Only light is provided by some lichen along the walls, which means that it is your lanterns that is providing all the light.
Most of the vegetation is bushes of various sizes. A closer look at them could give you more information on exactly what grows here.

You deduct that the water in the pool is fresh and drinkable. There are some insects and other wild life scampering about around it.
This place appear to be a small peaceful refuge. An oasis of sort.

You wade through the water?
The pool appears to be about a meter deep, and it is about 2 metre borad and 5 metres long. Trying to wade through it will get you all wet.
