There is no sign of Sylvia from your current location.
On the other hand you are in a somewhat secluded part of the chapel and only have a view of maybe 5% of the chapel from where you stand.

Beowuuf will go with the knight if the knight is offering to make introductions. He will scan the chapel for Sylvia along the way.

The X in the upper left corner: Prisoner area X on other places : Normal open area. S = Stone wall A = Area set with magical alarms and traps. P = Path of the robed men. E= Entrane/Exit door Each letter represents roughly a 3x3 metres area. Was wondering about somebody magically inclined - was thinking that might be what Brother Melor was up to, but perhaps not. Just to clarify: are there mechanical traps that if triggered, will set off the magical alarms? Or are the traps there to injure people, and the alarms completely separate? And it's definitely just a door way - there's no actual door that might or might not be locked. Seren nods, impressed at the woman's advice regarding the use of the ropes, and starts to tie the length that bound him in the manner she suggested. Whilst doing so he speaks to her again. "I'm pretty sure there are magical alarms on the ground surrounding us. Does anyone here have any ability with magic?"

"Where did they trade for new equipment?" asks Doomy. He has as much as he can carry, but there may be some useful items available. Perhaps a cart, he thinks, imagining the loot he'll be taking back to the surface.

Melor was beginning to feel restless, the guards could come at any time and they are not prepared. The loud mouth of the group is rambling needlessly but Melor agreed with his assessment, they need to disarm the traps quickly. But nevertheless, the need to defend themselves soon enough. He was much better with a projectile weapon in hand.Are you sure I can't make a sling? Tearing some part of my robes and make one like David from "David and Goliath"? Maybe use some of the ropes?

Seren and Melor (Round 10 to 12)
Seren makes use of a rope as the woman instructed. With a bit of help he gets something usable. You are now armed with a tightly tied rope knot.
Melor tries to make a sling. However, the cotton material he shreds away from his clothing is not co-operative and he does not end up with something usable. (Sorry, Melor failed his crafting attempt.)
None in the group replies positively on Seren's question. Most say simply shake their heads while others seems pre-occupied with personal things.
You have just finished these crafting attempts when you all hear a sound at the exit/entrance.
Someone is trying to force an entry without making too much noise.
For the moment the robed persons are not observing your group. The sound at the door is however loud enough to be heard in much of the room so it is likely someone will come to investigate the sound.
Most of the captives becomes alert and try to guess where this will lead. None of them acts on this immediately. Seems they are waiting out who will appear first.

"You can trade with me. Almost everything is by our hands and we can replace it. You can also make an order for something."
As for carts: There are a couple of carts with wooden wheels available here used for moving things between work-benches and shelves by the looks of it.
(Moving around will slow you down. It is certainly possible here to move around with a cart but you may face terrain where bringing a cart along is not possible.)

Beowuuf (Round 20 to 22)
Beowuuf find Sylvia when returning to the main path. Together you follow the Knight and his Squire to the Priest in charge of the expeditions.
After having made the introductions and explained that you may be interested in an expedition, the Priests looks you over.
"May I enquire for your reasons for joining the expedition?" the priest asks Sylvia.
"Because it is wothwhile quest and I gather you'd be willing to aid my researches in return for the favour."
"What kind of research are you making?"
"I'm interested in the lore and history of this temple."
"Very well. I gather that is a fair enough reward to ask for."
"And you, my Lord. Why do you wish to do this quest?"

Doomy selects a new-looking cart that looks small enough to easily push, but large enough to hold a decent amount of loot. In return, he offers a gleaming white pearl from his pouch.
"This do ye?" he asks. He expects the pearl to be worth a dozen such carts, but he wants to buy the ogron's silence as well.
"What other gear do ye got?"

Doomy (Round 6)
The Ogron likes the white pearl and accepts it in trade you are now owner of a small (mostly) wooden cart.
While pushing this cart before you, your Speed is -2 and your Stealth is -2. On the plus side is that you can put up to 20 articles into the cart.
As for other items it is as the ogron has stated already. Everything crafted in this fairly large chamber can be traded for. This includes some weapons, armour and much building materials and interiors. This is the place where everything out of metal, wood, and stone is constructed and repaired. An inverntory list would be much too long to iterate, and the ogron won't even try without knowing something more detailed about what you wish.
Instead he merely gestures towards the room and invites you to have a look. It is not difficult to find areas of items with specific types if you look around. The workshop/smithy is kept orderly.

"Stay low!" hissed Melor as he wrapped the ropes around his knuckles and crouch on the floor. He was readying himself to jump over anyone and maybe anything that came through the doors at any moment, traps be damned. In this eagerness was a surprise to himself, he was usually more calm and collected than this. Something about being trapped that just rubbed him the wrong way.
Melor quickly shot a glance at the talkative captive, the only one that seem to be doing something, and signaled him of his attention to attack.

The priest nods and the addresses you with the following query:
"With the the two volunteers and the two mercenaries we have enough members for the expedition. Would you prefer to the briefing now or interview the remainder in the group?" (To Siyenese Knight)
"I'd like to interview the remainder first," the response comes.
"Would you like to come along for the interview," the Knight queries directed to Beowuuf and Sylvia.
