[Sorry, busy week and another one coming. Only got two days off between now and 30th, but I will try and check in and keep moving.]
Seren decides to bag all the potions, but tries to keep the one he has sniffed separate in his satchel. He then thinks it would be prudent to try and arm himself somewhat more effectively and makes his way towards the weapons rack that he passed with the soldiers.
If it's impractical to keep all the potions, he'll keep as many as he can, picking at random. Ranged weapons of particular interest from what's left on the rack.

Melor:
The cupboard is divided into two parts which are isolated. In the upper part you find: - A selection of fine labelled beverages, mostly wines and sherries. - A selection of cutlery (spoons, forks, knives) made in silver, you appriase this to be worth a neat sum if taken back to the city. - A selection of wine glasses made of crystal.
In the lower part you find tools and equipment used to handle undead. There are some rather off-putting rotting parts here.
You want to ignore discomfort and look more closely at the items there?
Seren: You arrive late to the weapon rack and much of it has been picked already but you manage to find the following weapons which are of adequate quality: 3 Warhammer 5 Dagger 10 Spears
Obviously you can't take all this but you can take what you need here.
After you have made your selections here, the soldiers call you together.
The situation is as follows. The cultists has taken refuge beyond the secret exit and most of the mercenaries will try to follow them and kill them. They are reinforced by their other group (6 additional soldiers) and are now being healed and treated for the wounds they had taken.
The soldiers will spare one of their numbers to escort you back to a chapel inside the tomb, and once there you will have a safe haven and a possibility to leave the tomb.
Alternatively, you can follow the soldiers on their pursuit of the cultists and then when they are done they'll take a closer look at this area before returning to the chapel.
Your last option is to continue on your own. This area will be left for your own plunder and you could take a very good look at it and search it while the soldiers continues with the pursuit.
There are some prisoners taking each of these 3 options so you will not be entirely alone regardless of which option you choose. (Most of the captives will have randomly generated actions, others will not. Some of their actions may even depend on what one or both of you chooses.)

Questions to all:
Are you (still) available for the game and ready to move on your next mission?

Without anyone watching, Melor pocketed a spoon, five forks and takes a knife just in case before he turned his attention to the lower part of the cupboard. The stench almost made Melor belched but he braced himself to look deeper into the cupboard to find anything of use.
I'm still in.

I'm still here! If memory serves, I was on a subquest to help my Kai lord buddy destroy an evil cult?

Head rocking ambivalently from side to side, satisfaction at having found a decent hand weapon tempered somewhat by disappointment - though no surprise - that there is no crossbow, Seren lifts a warhammer from the rack and hefts it momentarily from hand to hand; it is a heavy weapon, not as deft as he would choose, but he gladly discards the leather cudgel in its favour. He then proceeds to secrete all of the daggers he has found about his person, buoyed a little that he has a method of taking on enemies from at least a short distance away.I'm assuming that the warhammer is a superior weapon to the cudgel. If it's actually not practical for Seren – too heavy or something - let me know and I'll not make the swap. Also, if he's unable to carry all the daggers, that's okay, but he'll be taking as many as he can – sadly sandals are not nearly as practical for slipping daggers into as boots! And yes, I'm definitely still up for this – been looking forward to the continuation!

Melor:
Apart from rotting limbs and dried hides you find the following:
2 Scapels 2 pairs of Scissors 1 Silver Dagger 1 obviosuly evil Tome bound in human hides. 5 Amulets, these all appear to have weaker enchantment vs. undead. They do not look the same. One is made of platinum, 2 in silver, and the 2 other in tin. They all are attached to a cord and to make use of them you'd have to wear them around your throat.
You are only permitted to make use of one Amulet at a time.
You want to try and identify the amulets?
You want to try and handle the Tome in any way?
Seren:
The daggers all come with holsters so you can take them all and carry the surplus in your backpack. Yes, you can handle the warhammer.

'More trinkets...' said Melor in disappointment. However his hands still picked a few of them without much thought. His eyes widen with glee when he finally saw a book among the rotting meat and blood. He grabbed hold of the book with the eagerness of a child who just received his annual winter gifts.
Melor nonchalantly took in the order: 1 Scapels 1 pairs of Scissors 1 Silver Dagger 5 Amulets
saving the tome for last which he paid the utmost importance. Melor would try to read the title of the book then he would open the book to read it.

Melor eyes widened with excitement and glee when he read the words on the book. His mouth was pulled into a smile and he quickly put it into safe keeping. He made sure that no one was looking when he did it.
OK, so what do we do now?

Melor had gained some inside of the happening around him from the the book that he read. He decided to continued on his own, there are things that needed to be check and books to be found. He already had one priceless book, maybe there are more inside. All the troubles that he had into getting inside was worth the while he thought.
And with that Melor would continue exploring. Sorry, got distracted by the book post.

Ok. Melor stays here, and is then free to go off as he like.
Started Doomy's thread.
Will need Seren's decision before deciding if to split you up or keep the two of you in one thread.
Will try to get to Woofy's thread up tomorrow.

Thoughts about exploring by himself in the hope of finding hidden treasures are tempered in Seren's mind by his continuing discomfort at having been forcibly brought to this place – his trade may be investigating strange, unpleasant places, but he typically does it on his own terms. The offer of an escort to a supposedly safe haven is tempting, but would not gain him the respect of the only people here who actually know something about the place – the soldiers. The thought of joining the pursuit of these cultists is not entirely appealing, but assisting the mercenaries looks like the quickest way of getting valuable information about, and help in navigating, whatever this tomb or dungeon is.
And there is a price yet to be paid by those who stole his jacket.
For now, Seren will help the mercenaries pursuing the cultists.
