i have recently come back from my parents house, to find that they have cleared the loft for re-insulating & everything in it. They have given away to a charity shop including my entire Lone wolf collection witch i collected in the 80s even though i explained to them they were quite irreplaceable & told them not to throw away (sob) an entire collection including a hard back omnibus the magnamund companion a lone-wolf t-shirt & all 4 of the Grey star series of books & the highway holocaust series all gone this has to be the biggest disaster for me of the year so far, i had to tell someone as this is eating me up

Oooh - that's gotta hurt.
I have to second Doomy - get thee to thy local charity shop and buy as much as you can back. I mean, you'll be doing some good in the process. In case that helps. At all.
Guessing not.

Sigh unfortunately several weeks had passed since the loft had been cleared & they didnt take them to a specific shop, they just gave the job lot to a charaty for disposal, the gods only know where they are now. Thank you for your understanding .

Urgh. That sucks.
I suppose at least we are currently in a time when the whole lot of LW books are getting republished. But however good the new editions may be, they're not the originals.
A major catastrophe this is not, obviously, but in Lone Wolf fandom terms, yes: a disaster.

This is why it is good to be in constant communication with your parents. Also why it's good never to make parents the custodians of your past.
Have you let them know that you're actually adopted, yet?
