ok so get/use heal reload pistol 2 perc on stealth, +3 act on stealth stealth back and try to sneak up on the witch, try and sneak behind her if I can 3 points on stealth is the maximum. I moved you back the previous round since it was a single square (2 activity). From now on you need to state exact path you are taking, though. A small free piece of advice: The Trap you spotted earlier is very unlikely to be alone. More of them are likely to be close by. Only way to detect them is to search the square they are on. Otherwise you will simply trigger the trap.

fair do's, its kinda hard to state where exactly to move to without a map though  can i put the +3 into searching as I move then?

Excellent thanks for the map, makes it easier to see where stuff is.
Before I move I want to heal, so 5 act will be getting potion/using it/putting it back. Then reload my pistol, which was 4 I think from last time? Which leaves me with 2 act. Putting my 2 perc into stealth, along with another 1 for extra stealth leaves me with 1 act for the round.
For the next round, just to keep things moving, again 2 Perc in stealth, +4search, +3stealth, then move from E10 to G11 in an L shape.

You already used the Healing Potion and reloaded the Bor Pistol last round. You are not in need of further healing, having 26 1/2 out of 30 health. So you can put seven points into search and stealth, which leaves you with 4 activity. i was gonna go in an actual L shape, so down one then across two. Just in case the witch is on the move and had moved into a square I previously went through.

You notice the Wicth slowly moving west towards your position. She is obviously sneaking forwards and is watching for you.
You are not going to be able to make a max damage attack on her but you can still make one auto-hit attack. You also notice a shield around her. She has raised a magical shield to protect her.
The corpse of the archer (G-11) is now close enough to be lootable. You are pretty sure he is the adventurer you were told about with special gear.

nice, I'll max out my stealth and then loot the corpse, keeping an eye on the witch. If she moves within range I'll attack her.

Right... After you looted the corpse you can decide what to do with the following items:
Longbow with pull 1, Quiver containing 7 Arrows Archer's Bracers: +2 to Attack when using a Bow. Gloves of Strength: +1 Strength
The Witch moves forward so she stands on the other side of the corpse. She keeps lookout for anyone approaching the corpse.
Being this close she's bound to notice you soon.
You notice a belt around her waist. It may be the belt you did not find on the archer, or perhaps some other magical belt.
The witch is now standing still. If you want to attack you will have to close the remaining distance (1 square) yourself.
Hmmm.... let's say you have spent 5 activity and 2 perception point thus far when you reach this conclusion.
You have time remaining to close the distance this round and to make one attack. Alternatively you can try to sneak away.

I presume I cant use the bracers and the gloves at the same time, since they would take up the same equipment slot? For the moment I'll leave actually looting/equiping until the witch is dead. Ding, dong.

Gloves = hands Bracers = lower part of arms Normally, I'd say you paid for taking it up but in this instance I think the Witch would notice if you did... so yeah. It would be not be wise to loot before the witch is dead.

Reload the pistol. Max search witch corpse. I'll take all the elf had and wear/equip the gloves, bracers, put the bow and quiver over the shoulder for the moment. Whats the belt the witch was wearing then?
