... what would I need? Remember I'm on a Mac.
But I really want to play it and review it for an upcoming "obscure game" contest.

That's simple. You can get everything you need (a Spectrum emulator and the game itself, even its manual) from one website - World of Spectrum. FUSE seems like the emulator most Mac users go for. Links to the game page and emulator. The same site also has games based on Flight From the Dark and Fire on the Water. Apologies to the sitestaff if this breaches any rules. But hey, you're staff too Zipp, so you can always delete this thread. I just checked and the links on the PA forum are still there, so I guess nobody here will mind.

Thanks, Doomy, for this!
I think it's freeware these days, anyway, so it shouldn't matter. They certainly aren't RE-RELEASING it or anything.

Not freeware, it's just highly unlikely anyone will try to enforce their copyright on it. Edit: In fact, it's still sort of possible to buy the game, so long as you don't mind buying in bulk. See here.

Which emu did you use? Try the 128K version of the game with ZXSP, I was able to load the game with the Windows version.

Are you missing a second file anywhere, or is it all one package?

Seems to be all one package.
