Just thought I'd see if their were any fellow Warhammerers here. In this case I'm talking the wargame not RPG.

A bit. I've played a couple of sessions and - rather oddly - GMed quite a lot more. I love the setting and the rules - beats D&D hands down. Not very experienced though.

I play Warhammer. I enjoy WFRP more but the players are harder to find. I could probably field about 7000 points of dwarfs if I had to and a 1000 point force of anything exept dark elves, or lizardmen provided I was allowed to sue allies.

I love 40K. Space Marines for the win!

I used to collect a Chaos Warrior army in Warhammer. I was mostly a 40k player back in the day, with armies of varying sizes (ranging from 500 to 5000 points) for Sisters of Battle, Eldar, Imperial Guard and Space Marines (in that order). This was back in 2nd Edition. I played up to the start of 3rd Edition, then the £30 Land Raider came out and I decided the price got silly. And the store in Swansea was full of kids and scary old blokes. I've also played Warhammer Quest and Gorkamorka in my time. At the moment, I'm collecting, painting and writing background (but not playing with) Battlefleet Gothic. Here's a link to the site I made for my fleet. -GB

Ah ah, thread from the dead!! Well, I don't currently play due to lack of time to go to a club (my only way to get a few games), but I've been buying and painting the occasional mini for some 3/4 years now (although much more in the last year). I love the setting, the rules, the armies and the whole "hobby idea" in general. It's a great game, even if you don't play it at all. Right now, I have a 2,500 pts or so Wood Elves force, primarily based on the figure of Orion and the concept of the Great Hunt. But this is just a start: later this year, it will be Chaos. Warriors, in this case. It also helps that I have to be up to date with Games Workshop stuff due to my work, so...

I used to play quite a bit, can field a very large dwarf army (surprise!), as well as a decent Imperial army and assorted bits and bobs of other forces.

I used to play both Warhammer and 40K a lot; recently got back into playing Warhammer. I play Eldar, Space Marines, and Imperial Guard; Skaven and Dwarfs on the Fantasy side.
I played most other GW games down the years as well. Big fan of Gorkamorka and Necromunda.
I also loved Warhammer Quest, and Inquisitor - for some reason I love the "miniatures game with strong plotline" archetype (and yet I'm not keen on the "RPG with required miniatures use" (like D&D 4th ed.).
