Indeed, the first two books, to my knowledge, are fine It's just the niggles in the next three now!

I'm happy to report the map puzzle now actually works! Also, I think this latest mini-adventure may be the best yet, depending on the reader's tastes. Being a puzzly dungeon crawl it feels more like Fighting Fantasy than Lone Wolf, but it actually offers a bit of challenge and I've enjoyed those puzzles I've seen so far.

Indeed, the first two books, to my knowledge, are fine Well, let's face it: the first two books had problems because of the way Mongoose was printing them (pages falling off, difficulties to keep the book open for some, damaged covers). But otherwise, they were fine. They have even corrected the missing section 192 in book 3! Now that they have switched to a new printer, we see editing error in the last three books: missing section 192 again in book 3 and missing equipment section for book 4 and 5. But otherwise, the books are well printed. Based on that, I'm sure now that if someone was to order books 1 and 2 today, they would get well-printed, well-edited copies. Let's be positive: with the beginning of the Magnakai series, we will get perfect books now. I must say that I have been lucky so far: all my books were perfect! It's just the delay now for book 4 that is killing me. I'm still waiting for it!

Let's be positive: with the beginning of the Magnakai series, we will get perfect books now. The right attitude indeed, good sir! And if 1 & 2 are okay that steers me in the right direction. Is there no hope of Book 3 being printed without a missing paragraph? Maybe the paperback....? Still waiting for Book 4? And some people have received Book 5 - there's got to be something wrong there, surely? And you should now be nearer the printers than us Brits seeing as it's all being done in the U.S., by the sounds of it.

I assume the very next print run (paperback or more CE) will have the section corrected, but since they are using a third party printer, I assume that they cannot reprint the book again until they have recouped the cost from this lot and sold the first run At least they seem confident that any physical printing errors (mis-printed pages or cut off bits or upside down binding) they can get a re-print on, and those can be returned

Yep, most likely because their deal with the printer states that the printer is responsible for the costs for replacing misprinted copies. Misedited ones Mongoose have to handle themselves.

Still waiting for Book 4? And some people have received Book 5 - there's got to be something wrong there, surely? Since I got books 1 to 3 all in the same package, I expect to receive books 4 and 5 in the same box too. Since they had just received a new batch of book 4 at their warehouse when book 5 was about to be printed, I think they decided to save money and not mail the two books seperatly.
