For this end of the year, Alberto Orsini, from our friends at Librogame's Land, published this month's online magazine with an interview with both authors of the trilogies of novels that Mongoose started years ago: Richard Ford ( The Dragons of Lencia) and August Hahn ( Glory & Greed). You can read both interviews here( www.librogame.net/magazine/dicembre2018.pdf) or, if you don't speak Italian, do like me and use Google Translation. If you are just lazy, here are the main elements (Spoiler alert!): Richard Ford -Richard Ford, while working at Mongoose, is the one who proposed to publish novels set in the world of Lone Wolf when the publisher decide to start the Collector's edition of the gamebook series. -The character of Stone Hawk was supposed to change his name to Shadow Hawk in the second book of the trilogy. He was supposed to look for a certain redemption after the fall of Helmstorm while fighting the Drakkarim invaders and his addiction to Alether. -Book 2 was supposed to be called The Shadow & the Skull and book 3 The Devastation Engine. August Hahn -Book 2 of his trilogy, Sand & Sorrow is completely written, just like the first chapter of book 3, Tiumph & Tragedy. -He is discussing with Ben Devere the possibility to republish the first book and the rest of the trilogy. He doesn't exclude the possibility to rewrite the first book if it gets republish.

Italian Kai Master reporting. If it's going to help I could take some time and proceed to do a full translation of the interview and post it here, maybe in smaller chapters to avoid a single giant wall of text.

That's interesting that one of the two trilogies may well see the light of day!
