Wow, that was quick: Megara Entertainment, publisher of the Autumn Snow series (a new spin-off series from the Lone Wolf universe) has launched a Kickstarted campaign to raise money so that they can published a Collector's Edition of the first book of the Grey Star series. And guess what? The campaign was launched on November 5th and on November 8th, it was already funded! Now it's time to get the stretch goals, starting with an alternate cover illustration. A few details: -The book will be larger than the version published in 1985. -All the interior illustrations have been made by Gary Chalk himself. -Gary also made the new cover illustration. If the first stretch goal is met, the alternate cover will be made by another artist. -Remember: this campaign only covers the FIRST book of the GS series, "Grey Star the Wizard". Similar Kickstarter campaigns will be made for each book in the next three years. -Publication of book 1 is scheduled for next spring. This campaign ends on December 2nd. -This will be similar to other Collector's Editions: hard cover, bonus adventure at the end, revised text by Joe and Ian Page. Interested? I've just learned that the bonus adventure will be called "Druse Quest", will featured Madim Rendalim and is written by the good people of Scriptarium. Also, the first stretch goal has been reached, so an alternate cover illustration will be made available: it will be the one made by Pascal Quidault that was revealed more than a year ago: daziarn.proboards.com/thread/978/grey-star-back
