Help to find spin off story

Firstly, sorry for the extended absence from here. Hope you are all well.

I was trying to find a spin off 4-game series where the main character is an agent of the Darklords (I vaguely remember something like 'neo darklords').

I believe it was in one of the periodicals, but cannot for the life of me remember what.
