Apparently, Greywood Publishing will make a board game based on the Lone Wolf universe, with the help of Gary Chalk. Here's what we can read on their website: Greywood Publishing has teamed up with Gary Chalk to produce a Lone Wolf board game. The war game is set in the world of Magnamund and will feature Gary's artwork throughout. Gary is an established game designer having been involved as an artist for the Talisman board game from Games Workshop as well as designing games such as Battle Cars and Cry Havoc. Gary is most famed as an artist, creating all of the Lone Wolf artwork for the game book series by Joe Dever.Greywood Publishing is already known for being the publisher of the d20 version of the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks and of a RPG version of the Fabled Lands series. The website can be seen here: www.greywoodpublishing.com

That's great to hear! I'm not familiar with Greywood products but if, as a wargame, is as near as intriguing as the boardgame of A Games of Thrones by Nexus Games it will be great!

I completely missed this topic. There's one thing that really sells me on this: Gary Chalk. I love Gary Chalk's art, and for me Magnamund never felt the same without him.

I recognize these pics: they were used for the french version of the d20 LW RPG (Le Grimoire had used new artworks from Gary). They're very nice

I'm not tremendously inspired by the sample map. It seems like a waste of Mr Chalk's talents, particularly when compared to the detail and variety of Talisman's board. I know it's probably quite a different sort of game, but still - make use of the man!
The character designs are good though, seemingly lifted directly from (or strongly inspired by) the illustrations in the books.
