A new place with, hopefully, new people. And just for fun, let me (re)introduce myself to the community.
I'm a 25-years-old French-Canadian from Montréal, currently living in a small town as a journalist. I own all the LW gamebooks in their French version. I discovered the series when I was maybe 12 when my father gave me books 15 and 20 as a Xmas gift. I fell in love with book 15 and decided to show it to one of my friend at school. Coincidence: he had book 13 and he agreed to lend it to me in exchange for book 20 and starting from there, I've started collecting them all.
I've first joined the PA boards back in spring 2004. That was my first time on a discussion board and I've never regretted it. Later that same year, TotS was created. At first, I had worries that Lone Wolf being a small online community at the time, the new website would split it in two opposite gangs. Luckily, it turned out that I was wrong and that both these sites helped bringing this community to new heights. I've finally joined TotS in October of 2004 and have been probably the most active member since then.
The destruction of the old site is a pain to me but, luckily, most of us are still in contact. I do hope that this temporary forum will help keep TotS alive until a new official site is done.
Feel free to also make similar thread as it is always good to remember where we come from.
