Well, according to this newly created site: www.johngrant.org, John Grant will be writing the mini-adventure in book 7. He says that he wants to make u p for displeasing a big chunk of the LW fans with his old Legends se ries. I don't know, but I don't like it a bit. Why would Mongoose accepted him as the writer of a mini-adventure? And for what reasons did J ohn Grant decided to make a come back in Lone Wolf universe? Meh, only Simey will be happy t o see him write these new mini-adventures. We ll, that's what I wanted to say...

Of course, without the bolds, I might have believed you.
They never got back to me one way or the other on writing a mini adventure... sniff sniff.

Oh, so he's not biased or promoting his own self interests at all then (subtle website name ). Why are you highlighting random letters in words? April fool doesn't seem like much of a secret message to me . I have a rough idea for turning Tunnelrunner from an unfinished short story into a mini adventure for The Fall of Blood Mountain but I'm not sure I'd get it finished on time .

Yeah, but this would require Mongoose making good on their offer, and as far as I know, they never got back to anyone on TOTS about it.

They already had the Kai series locked though - if I recall, Banehawk (umm, I forget his real name - Richard Ford wasn't it) did warn that you probably wouldn't hear from them right up until you did hear from them

I'm guessing that basically means, "don't hold your breath"?

Heh, just plausible enough to be possible. It was only "why the hell is he bolding random letters?" that revealed the truth to me. ;D Nice April Fool, BC.

Gah! Don't do that Black Cat! I read the title and nearly punched my fist through the monitor.

I would have actually been fairly interested to see John Grant doing a gamebook, even a small one. Whatever flaws he may have, he has a hell of a way of describing sensory experiences, and that could actually work really well in a gamebook format.

Alyss would have taken the form of the riddling Zakhan.

Sounds good to me! I enjoyed the Legends, aside from the latter elements on Magic and Kai Gestalts which was a bit too weird for my liking. But the first few books are brilliant and even the latter stages have some great parts with the Lorestone of Varetta and most of The Secret of Kazan-Oud being good. If Grant can do them more like the first 3 books that would be best though.
