I have mainly been on the Project Aon forums, since that was the first I found, but I then started going through the archives and found this place as well.
So with that said, I will do a formal introduction of myself, since I have yet to really do that on the Project Aon forums..
I was introduced to Lone Wolf via a bookstore called the Bookworm, which was about a hour from me. My parents would go to the Walmart nearby and I would have them drop me off at the Bookworm to look at books, comics, etc. The clerk there saw my interest in the dungeon and dragons type books and showed me Lone Wolf. I saw the book, remembered all of the Choose your own Adventure books I had *(if anyone remembers the Indiana Jones series, that was my first set)* and I started devouring the world of Lone Wolf. From drawings to character creation, I dove into it *(I even carved out a replica of the Sommerswerd using a 4x4 and sharpies). I started with Flight from the Dark and at least once a month, after cutting grass and earning money, would spend it all on another two books. I made it all the way to number 10, ending with a cliffhanger of LW falling into the portal. The bookworm never carried any more of the books, and with not having access to the internet, I pretty much gave up on the LW series until about a year ago, when I saw news about the LW android game coming out. Curious, I found the Project Aon site, and found that there were SO many more books, and that there was a community out there and that it wasn't just me buying these books. So as I have gotten the chance, I have dove back into the books, devouring anything and everything about the world of Lone Wolf, and I havent looked back.
As for my name Whispered Lion, it was first the name of my character in the world of Lone Wolf. He was a kai aspirant who had a run in with a Drakkarim patrol and due to the battle, his throat had been damaged to where he could only whisper when he talked. His battle cry, because of the damage sounded more like a roar instead of a yell.
After moving on from LW, he became my Exalted character.
I think I much prefer him to be back in the world of Lone Wolf and I hope to join in on the RPG that is done here and get him into the Kai Monestary again.
