Anybody read or play Zork

Anybody read the Zork books or play the computer games? I know its old 80s stuff but its still fun.

Yeah I used to have the first three books I think it was... Remember they used to try to catch cheaters out when they said they had a certain item, which was pretty cool and amusing I thought. Honestly, not among my favourite gamebooks though, but still they were fun.

Lol, never played Zork (just heard of it) but used that same 'cheater' trick in one of the for fun improvised gamebook threads we did a while back!

Yeah when I first came to look at these forums a month or two back there was a great thread about Lone Wolf versus Fire*Wolf (an interview with Joe Dever and Herbie Brennan)... That interview was awesome! Has it been taken down now? Can't seem to find it any more

Look in the North Watch, it sounds like the sort of thing Black Cat would have reposted from elsewhere. Board's being slow and funny, if I get the chance I'll have a look for it.
