They say that music can sooth the savage beast, a valuable asset in the armoury of the Kai.
Using your intuitive kinship with animals (and more importantly a popular song or poem as a base) can you create a set of verses to call to, honour, mock or calm one of Lone Wolf's many beastial adversaries?
Post the verses here (with the previous work's name or text for comparison) and a poll shall be opened up at the end to judge which is the best.
In the case of a tie, a bonus will be awarded to the person who managed to use a similarly themed original song/poem!

Valerie by The Zutons (Also covered by Amy Winehouse)
Well Sometimes I Go Out, By Myself, And I Look Across The Water.
And I Think Of All The Things, Of What You're Doing, And in my head I Paint A Picture.
Since I've Come Home, Well My Body's Been A Mess, And I Miss Your ginger Hair, And The Way You Like To Dress.
Oh Won't You Come On Over, Stop Making A Fool Out Of Me, Why Dont You Come On Over, Valerie.
Valerie Valerie Valerie
Did You Have To Go To Jail, Put Your House Out Up For Sale, Did You Get A Good Lawyer.
I Hope You Didnt Catch A Tan, I Hope You Find The Right Man, Who'll Fix It For You.
Are You Shopping Anywhere, Change The Color Of Your Hair, And Are You Busy.
Did You Have To Pay That Fine, That You Were Dodging All The Time, Are You Still Dizzy.
Well Since I Come Home, Well My Body's Been A Mess, And I Miss Your Tender Hair, And The Way You Like To Dress.
Oh Wont You Come On Over, Stop Making A Fool Out Of Me, Oh Why Don't You Come On Over, Valerie.
Valerie Valerie Valerie
Well Sometimes I Go Out, By Myself, And I Look Across The Water.

Since I've Come Home, Well My Body's Been A Mess, And I Miss Your Tender Hair, And The Way You Like To Dress.

Powerful and ancient, by themselves, a vicious breed of Vorka.
Summoned in a ring, using rities and runes it’s a mixture.
Now summoned in Duadon, coming though in mass, can we feel your reptile skin or will you kick my ass.
Oh won’t you stop your fighting and dance and sing with me, why don’t you stop attacking me, Agarashi
Agarashi Agarashi Agarashi
Did you attack Delden, did you slaughter all their men, on order of Vandyan
You moved swiftly to war, next attacked Magador, It was over quickly
Moved south of seize Tekaro, not stopped by there heroes, boy you’ve been busy
In the west attacked Vanamor, Lonewolf met you at the door, but he could not stop you.
Now summoned in Duadon, coming though in mass, can we feel your reptile skin or will you kick my ass.
Oh won’t you stop your fighting and dance and sing with me, why don’t you stop attacking me, Agarashi

Behind Yellow Eyes (The Story of the Elix)
No Kai knows what it`s like To be the bad cat To be the sad cat Behind yellow eyes
No Kai knows what it's like To be hated To be fated To scratching out Lone Wolf's eyes
But my claws They aren't as empty As my mouth seems to be
I have hours Only lonely My love is cat nip That's never free
No Kai knows what it's like To be an Elix Like I am And I blame you
No Kai bites back as hard On their anger None of my pain and woe Can show through
But my claws They aren't as empty As my mouth seems to be
I have hours Only lonely My love is cat nip That's never free
No Kai knows what it's like To be the bad cat To be the sad cat Behind yellow eyes
Behind Blue Eyes - The Who
No one knows what it`s like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes
No one knows what it's like To be hated To be fated To telling only lies
But my dreams They aren't as empty As my concience seems to be
I have hours Only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free
No one knows what it's like To feel these feelings Like I do And I blame you
No one bites back as hard On their anger None of my pain and woe Can show through
But my dreams They aren't as empty As my concience seems to be
I have hours Only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free
When my fist clenches, crack it open Before I use it and lose my cool When I smile tell me some bad news Before I laugh and act like a fool
If I swallow anything evil Put your finger down my throat If I shiver, please give me a blanket Keep me warm, let me wear your coat
No one knows what it's like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes

Yesterday, All the doomwolves seemed so far away, Now it looks as though they've all gone stray, And my retriever's run away.
Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be, Bitten in two just above the knee, Oh, who set all these doomwolves free?
Why they can't stay home in the Darklands, I can't say, Now they've fouled my garden, I wish they'd go away!
Yesterday, 'Fetch' was such an easy game to play, But doomwolves fetch what I don't throw away, Like horses, cows and serving-maids.
Can we ever live together, who can say? Maybe doomwolves and man can find another way.
Yesterday, I had all my limbs and pets, but - hey! Now I've new-found friends from far away, And I'm glad that they're here to stay!
<chomp>
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm........
Yesterday by The Beatles
Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away Now it looks as though they`re here to stay Oh I believe in yesterday
Suddenly I`m not half the man I used to be there`s a shadow hanging over me Oh yesterday came suddenly
Why she had to go I don`t know she wouldn`t say I said something wrong Now I long for yesterday
Yesterday Love was such an easy game to play Now I need a place to hide away Oh I believe in yesterday
Why she had to go I don't know she wouldn't say I said something wrong Now I long for yesterday
Yesterday Love was such an easy game to play Now I need a place to hide away Oh, I believe in yesterday Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm............

    Great entry, I'm totally prepared to forgive the fact you'd obviously have to tail off the word 'maids' to hide the non-rhymn

Just for fun, here's my (not going to get put up for vote) entry
Up where we belong (by Lone Wolf)
Who knows what tomorrow brings In a world where one Kai survives All I know is the book is real When it’s found, I can keep my kin alive
But the road is long There are sand dunes in the way And if I walk, I'll die any day
Itikar lift me up where I belong Giant eagle cries, in the desert skies Itikar lift me up where I belong Far from the Darklord so His evil plans I can blow
Zagarna killed all that "used to be" And there are foes coming up behind I'm so concerned with being free Because that book, I really need to find
The road is long There are sand dunes in the way If I fail, my surival who can say?
Itikar lift me up where I belong Giant eagle cries, in the desert skies Itikar lift me up where I belong Faster than the Kraan and co They want to kill me, I know
The world goes by No time to try And heal your wounds - goodbye!
Itikar lift me up where I belong Giant eagle cries, for it will surely die Itikar lift me up where I belong A little further to go I see a shape I might know
Itikar lift me up where I belong So sorry you'll die, in the desert skies Itikar lift me up where I belong I really hope that you know You've saved the world from woe
Itikar lift us up where we belong Giant eagle cries, in a desert sky Itikar lift us up where we belong Far from the world we know Up where the clear winds blow
------------------------------------------------------------------ UP WHERE WE BELONG (Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes)
Who knows what tomorrow brings In a world, few hearts survive All I know, is the way I feel When it’s real, I keep my pray alive
The road is long There are mountains in our way But we climb steps every day
Love lift us up where we belong Where the eagles cry, on a mountain high Love lift us up where we belong Far from the world we know Up where the clear winds blow
Some hang on to "used-to-be" Live their lives locking behind All we have is here and now All our lives, out there to find
The road is long There are mountains in our way But we climb steps every day
Love lift us up where we belong Where the eagles cry, on a mountain high Love lift us up where we belong Far from the world we know Up where the clear winds blow
Time goes by No time to cry Life’s you and I, alive, baby
Love lift us up where we belong Where the eagles cry, on a mountain high Love lift us up where we belong Far from the world we know Up where the clear winds blow
Love lift us up where we belong Where the eagles cry, on a mountain high Love lift us up where we belong Far from the world we know Up where the clear winds blow

I'm totally prepared to forgive the fact you'd obviously have to tail off the word 'maids' to hide the non-rhymn Well, good! It took me chuffin' ages to think of something to finish that verse. Dratted stupid choice of song really - nearly every blinkin' line has to end with an -ay rhyme. I ran out quite quickly!

Hey Beo, you know that you can take part in the events that require voting to decide of a winner? It is not as if you knew already the results of the vote or that you could modify them.

If there's more entries I'll think about it, but true, no one has to vote

Ok, we have three strong entries, one entry from that Beowuuf fella, and NO MORE TIME! Contest is closed now. All that is left is for the contestants to vote for themselves, and for the rest of you to take out your bitterness at being too late by voting tactically against good entries.
Or, you know, everyone can vote for the best entry. Poll closes Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Vote now!

If you have it ready, then as GMoNO (that sounds like a stereo system) and with the willingness of the other participants, I'd love to see it, and if any come lateys to the voting want to vote, they can say it in the thread. Perhaps? Or just post it for fun

Actually, it's not written. I've kept thinking last week: "Make Animal Kinship entry this Sunday. Make Animal Kinship entry this Sunday" and yesterday, I've totally forgot about it. I don't think it would be fair for me to be allowed in this event since I didn't respect the deadline, so I'll keep my entry for next year! ;D

And I wish that we could all declare that the firts three entries should get first place and full points each and move on, sadly we put it to a vote and the voting has spoken with one deserving entry not getting votes and another getting less than it deserved Simey - 1st place, 8 points Beowuuf - 2nd place, 6 points Swiftstrike - 3rd place, 4 points Sarra - participation, 2 points Thanks everyone for their great entries!
