PvP is allowed from the start.
Also, you can at any time try to flee through one of the entrances/exits of which there are a total of 8.
I will post the result of your moves in about an hour from now.

I wish the post/edit window where large on pro-boards!
Difficult to find a good overview when writing things. Perhaps there is too much info in the posts.
Anyway, if you could align your Actions the same way I've done in my post it will save me save time writing your responses.
If not I'll try to translate it to that format anyway, but it will likely save some time if you do.
Everyone has round 1 posted now. Will move forward with round 2 tomorrow.

If you find one of the others in the dungeon, there is nothing stopping you from attacking them, or them you.

Cross-post from game-thread.
Regarding entering an unknown room at the start of a round.
If you intend to fight if someone is on the other side, you should indicate that you will open the door at the end of the round.
I will not allow you to fight or attack unknown enemies. You need to open the door to try to get an exact location, and give them a chance to see you.
Generally speaking it is a bad idea to leave a door closed if you intend to enter a room. Not only can you not attack enemies, you can not take a closer look at interesting locations either.
In short. Leaving doors closed will lose you one round if you intend to go through the door.
Also consider that you if you have not looked for traps on the door then you will probably want to do that before opening it.
Traps are not abundant on doors this time around, but you may have them there also in cases when the door is not locked.
Concealed items are more common in this game but most items are poorly concealed, and if you spend the point on search/loot you have a good chance of finding them.

Ok, so in my moves I had that I opened and walked through the door and 'searched' - is this the idea? Or should I save my activty for something else and just stand at the opend door.
In the case of a trapped door, I had disarm for 4 activity and then 1 for listening - should I open the door after this, or do I need one activity to open it (I thought it was free, you just need to nominate it)

In the case of a trapped door, I had disarm for 4 activity and then 1 for listening - should I open the door after this, or do I need one activity to open it (I thought it was free, you just need to nominate it) You can't open the door and search items in your new room the same round. If you open the door and have activity over you probably want to move into the room and/or place points into stealth. Placing yourself in the center of the room is generally a good idea, since it will make you close to most things in the room. Opening a door is always free. Same with closing the door. The difference between a closed and open door, is that with the door closed you will not be permitted to interact with anything in the room the next round, while you will be given a list of items and interesting locations to look closer at if you open the door. For this reason, always try to open the door at the end of a round. Traps on doors are fairly rare this time around, although they are more common on locked doors, which have riddles and puzzles as in Avalar.

Ok, I'll change the end actions

I've just changed my actions to include opening the door I'm currently standing next to. I'm basically wasting one activity point, but I'd end up wasting more next turn.
Edit: Realised I could loot the desk if I didn't wear the cloak immediately, changed post again.

Can't we move diagonally? I seem to have lost two ability point this round You move the shortest distance, but the activity cost is rounded up. So 1 diagonal step costs 2 (I.e. A1 to B2). If you move two diagonal steps it costs 3, not 4. (Ie A1 to C3).

Right... Beowuuf seems .... easy ... to corrupt.
Anyway, disease pits, plague pools and similar obejcts works like this.
If you dip a weapon there, then it becomes infected with Disease or coated with Poison.
The strength DC is rolled each time the object (i.e. disease pit/plague pole etc) is used.
The time the weapon is infected is determined as follows:
If the weapon /arrow / bolt is in contact with the poison less than 1 round, then the duration is equal to the activity spent or maximum 5 rounds.
If you let the weapon /arrow / bolt remain in contact more than 1 round then you will get a duration of: 5 rounds duration for each full round the weapon remains there. +1d4 rounds for each started round. Maxmimum of 20 rounds duration. Cannot get more Rounds than activity spent.
Rounds here spans the normal round limit. I.e. I will count from the time you actually put the weapon in the item until you actually retrieve it.
Beowuuf: You may adjust your action if you so wish.

I'll give Seren until this evening to post next round. If nothing posted by then I will post the next round for the rest of you. Sorry. I ran out of time before work yesterday and since then it's been almost impossible to get on because of maybe site problems (?) yesterday and my connection being hopeless today. I'm onto it right now if the connection stays good....
