Yeah I'm still lurking around. You might be able to find it on Amazon or ebay. If not I have it, don't want to break copyright by printing it off for people but I'm down for discussing it. Also have the Darklords addition.

Hello Thrawn, sorry I promised to help and then I disapeared for 6 months (long story) but I am back now and here is my two cents for all it is worth.
1. Beowolf is right the skill points system is flawed I had a level 9 kai lord with 20 points in stealth. a few more sessions and he would be able to sneak into the royal palace in holmgard, buck naked in broad daylight.
2. here is my Hybrid skill system (an Amalgam of Pathfinder and D&D 4th) No more skill points at first level. Your base attribute bonus is your initial score. You then receive a +4 bonus if it is a class skill. Next every skill goes up 1 point every even level.
i.e. a 1st level Brother of the Crystal star with Cha 14 would have a diplomacy score of 6. 2 points for the attribute score of 14 and 4 points because it is a class skill. At 2nd level he would add +7 to his diplomacy rolls and at level 4 +8...level 6 +9 etc...
3. I don't know how familiar you are with d20 RPG systems but I have also added feats to my game and if The Brother mentioned above wanted to improve his Diplomacy score he could select the skill focus feat, which would give him a +2 bonus to all his Diplomacy checks.
hope this isn't to confusing.
