Oh, it doesn't really matter: he would send us signed copies of book 29 before everyone else to pardon himself! ;D

It's been some time now. I don't suppose you've received the book yet Zipp?

Our quest is at an end. Joe Dever contacted me on FB today. He will be back at home in the UK this weekend, which is when he will sign the book and send it on its way. I'll contact Zipp for an address.

Wow, just wow! But I'll wait to see FA get the book before I celebrate officially the event.

Friends....
Today a package arrived at my house. Opening it, I saw a book I have not seen in over four years.
The Wandering Book has come to Portland, Oregon, signed by Mr. Dever himself. It is only a stone's throw away from its original owner.

Wow, this is so cool! A world travelling book finally finds a resting place. Too bad we don't have a website anymore, putting a picture gallery of it in the front page would be the coolest thing ever!

Yay, it survived! I don't log in here often and I had even missed that the book ever left WH. Me & Redbeard signed it afternoon May 11 2005 at the Akkurat pub in Stockholm. I don't remember who sent it to me, but I am pretty sure I sent it on to Methos.

Fantastic news, Zipp! I think when I joined TotS it was maybe doing a second tour of the States, and I thought whilst it was a great idea, I'd not get involved. I'm thrilled that it - eventually - winged its way to the U.K. once more, 'cause it's very cool to have been a part of the project, and it makes the closing of its journey that much more exciting! And even though they've caused us some fed-up-ness and concern, I think the trials and tribulations of the book's journey - and the sheer, unexpected length of it, time-wise - just add to the achievement of the journey nearing completion, and the momentousness of the project as a whole. He ain't never gonna read this, but THANKS! to Joe Dever for taking part. It was all worthwhile anyway, but that really does make it even more special. Let us know who else you get to sign it, Zipp. And tell us when it's finally on its way home.

Excellent news Zipp. Glad I got to be involved too, and I was waiting with bated breath for that confirmation from you too, since I was the last board member who touched it before it got to Joe. Even if it had gotten lost between Joe and you, I still would have felt guilty!
Quality.
