more nastiness from ETB towards Sera. This is what I had already written last week, was gonna tack on a bit about Temel but as the idea grew that would make the post just toooooooooo huge! Zipp, if you want to carry on with what we discussed regarding ETB/Sera, after that I can move us onto Temel.

Coming from me: another Sera post detailing the next step in her and "backhand's" wonderfully healthy relationship.
Beowuuf, it's up to you whether you want to discover Cloe or not (and then confront her or lead her into a trap or something). If you don't discover her or take action, her course of action will be to follow you until you get to wherever you are going. If you are attacked, she will come to your aid.
Which might be a really cool scene. Anyway, Beowuuf is really the lynchpin in what happens in my next Cloe post, so... have at it!

Just logging in to post funnily enough. I've made Beowuuf aware of Cloe, and hinted at how the meeting might go. I think I've worked out a way for this to work that's interesting to me and pushes Beowuuf's character forward (or sideways at least!)
Anyway, I can PM you my thoughts on the dynamic, and we can take it from there (both the dymanic and the way to meet up)

To note: I will be using Zipp to write as Cloe and Sera to write as Sera, so PMs regarding those characters should go to those accounts.

Alright, Beo. I think it's about time that Chaos scout found you... or Cloe... which one do you want it to be?

Since the scout deliberately ignored Beowuuf, makes logical sense for it to be Cloe

I mentioned this in the OOC, but maybe it's time for the Chaos Army to attack the main force? Would add a bit of pep to the WW and give everyone not off on scouting quests a reason to post. Would also make for a nice situation for Beo to deal with: he and Cloe discover the Chaos creatures and begin a frantic race back to the army, trying to get there in time. Would also make an interesting note on how Beo is fated to be away from the attack and thus have a better chance of surviving. I smell elements of the original books in that.

Alright, now no one has any excuses not to start writing Beowuuf, what are your next plans? That will figure into how we connect Cloe to your plotline.

Well the idea was to run to Cloe's defense, but if Cloe disappears, then I guess I'll have to put my thinking cap on!

Well, we could still have you run to her defense as she's fighting the creature off underneath the grases, but I left it that way so that we didn't have to go with any one route if we didn't want to. What was your plans for the scouting mission?

You saw it really - imply the Chaos creatures were a tough foe and have one stroll right passed Beowuuf without thought. Plus add the 'chaos effect' idea. That was as far as my brain had gone really, I just thought Beowuuf would be more logically placed as a scout than doing anything official leading an army force.
Hadn't really got a feel for the beats in between, was playing it by ear to see what was needed to fill in until finding Eshnar and reuniting with anyone in the army. Even using the Border Rangers instead of Beowuuf if we're disconnecting from first person more and just doing a story now, though not sure what horrible or odd thing they could discover.
Anyway, will get my thinking cap on.

Well, I see this whole story going two ways at this point, though for it to go anywhere we'll have to get people writing again, first!
One idea is my earlier suggestion of the main army being attacked while Beowuuf is gone. Then a rag tag band of survivors has the mission to make it back to Holmgard with warning.
The other option is for Beowuuf and Cloe to rejoin the army and for Cloe's presence combined with Beowuuf's news of chaos creatures there to cause a rift in the army as to what should happen next. Then, due to their indeciveness, the army falls prey to a chaos attack and we're back at the rag tag band of survivors scenario.
Those who didn't want to be in the band could continue fighting chaos in the Wildlands.
Of course, any band of survivors could come into contact with Evil TB and Sera and be forced to work together for the time being.
This is just a series of suggestions, mind you. If anyone has any ideas, please share them! It's time to get things moving, though, I think... so we need some plan.

Whoa! Way to shock me there, Beowuuf! Did not see that coming!

Realised if this was a big storyline in a novel series/tv series, it's exactly the sort of 'this is it, this situation is serious' things you'd do.
Plus while there were lots of intellectually interesting things I could do, I suddenly realised they weren't emotionally interesting to me, whereas going back and playing Sahmas back in the main army with this...and how that interaction will go down and develop... seems like it might be interesting for both characters
Anyway, see what everyone else says, don't want to spoil it more!
Obviously, the core idea of going back to the main army, and that ensuing chaos and attack, still stands.
