I hate to throw a bone to people delaying, but is there any reason for the new chapter not to begin whenever, and the old chapter staying open for the tying up thing as long as those posts have no plot related reasons? Just thinking of BC's posts, etc.
I like the idea that any plot related posts have a deadline for the 1st though.
And I think the actual summary necessary for book 2 is done now, so the chapter 17 summariescan also delay a little.
But yeah, next monday new book opens - woohoo!

I think old chapters should close just for sanity's sake. BC himself has posted that he doesn't think he'll be able to post for a while. When I last made a message like that, I think it was nearly two years before I posted in the WW again. I'm sure that when BC comes back he'll remain the intelligent clever man we all know and love and will be able to easily fit in the end of his story into our new books. |

Ok, will get my own summary done at some point this week (I have one, but it was truncated for the next chapter, need to expand it again!  ) I'll also get one don for anyone else who posted in the previous chapter and hasn't posted their own, and will then add it to the uber-summary post. Hmm, might close the uber-summary as 'book 1 summary' and open a new summary thread for book 2 |

Don't worry, Doomy is being arrested for various crimes or something, Zipp is filming, and Simey has another post to do, so both the chapter 17 and chapter 1 are open for whenever. And of course this summary isn;t necessary for the chapter open anymore!  |

Actually it turns out the case has been delayed so I am still at liberty. Nobody even bothered to tell me before I turned up, so I got up at 6am for no reason.
I didn't realise today was some sort of deadline though!

Well it wasnt a dealine like "do it or you're fired!!" sorta deadline, just we decided to start the new book on the 1st and I was sposed to right the first post. Thats all.

Oh right. So the new book won't start til you make the opening post. No worries, as Wuuf says most of us aren't actually ready to contribute today anyway.

Simey suggested it and Zipp supported it, so it was sort of to make sure we didn't procrastinate. I did my bit, when I might have still been trailing my feet, but it's only as firm as we need it to be. The new one is open, the old one is still open, post where you need to and I'll close the old one once everyone is happy they have tied themselves up!

I'm waiting for Evil TB to make his next post before I do. If he hasn't posted by the end of next week, I'll probably tie Sera to another character just to get things moving.

And done! I've left it at a point where you can detail how Sera reacts and what eviltb decides to do with her next. That should give me some time to write something from the CMs point of view!
