Having seen Raiders of the Lost Ark, I'd like to improvise some sort of flaming torch and use that to keep the snakes at bay while I cross the room to the other door.

There are no scrolls or parchments here. Reason is porbably that there are many volatile things in here. On several places alchemical brewing is in progress.
You find no magical items here. Many alchemical ones and strange herbs, but nothing which appears magical.
You manage to find a source of water that appears fresh to slake your thirst (or save for later).
There are also no further traps. You do not detect any nor do trigger any by mischance.
As for light sources. The only thing which you notice which could be used to provide a good light source is the lanterns which gives off a dim green light whih are fastened at the wall.
You want to investigate one of the lanterns more closely?

The two adventurers are not too keen to follow you into this dangerous room.
"This looks like a side-track to me," one of them says,
"We need to get to the deeper level," the second one fills in.
"Agree. That's where the real treasures and wonders are. The teleporter is just yonder in this room," the first one says.
Before leaving you, they ask if you really want to continue this way.
If you continue with your plan, then they bid you good-bye and continue towards the Teleporter beam.
While they talked you have managed to find some sticks that could make an improvised torch but getting something to burn fiercely here will be very difficult since the air inside the room is damp.

Okay, there's no obvious goodies and probably a Cener or something in here, so I might as well just follow my new meatshields, er companions, to the teleporter.
I'll take some water for later, if I have the space.

There is no water here. Was in reply for Beowuuf.
You let the adventurers take the lead, or you want to go first?

Beowuuf will briefly check out the lanterns, and will certainly take the chance for fresh water. However, I think it's time to get to the exit, then firebomb this monstrocity!
And, of course, hope nothing evil is in the next area.
I think spend a little itme doing a perception check on the way onwards before blocking off the way back - full points.
Then, onwards!

It will take a while for you to determine what exactly is in the lanterns but I will assume you spend the required effort.
The light in the lantern is from a captive undead spirit. It seems quite vengeful but the lantern is made in such a way that it cannot get out. The construction of the lantern looks safe. It will take some considerable damage to actually destroy it.
The fuel for the lantern is bone marrow which is rather easy to find in this room. The particular lamp you are by is fairly low on 'fuel'.
NOTE: I give no guarantees that the explosion and ensuing conflagration you are about to stage in this room will not break one or more of these lanterns.
As for how many lamps there are in this room. There are 4 along each wall for a total of 16 lamps.

O.O
Beowuuf grimaces as the full horror of the creatures bound to the lamp becomes apparent. He shakes his head as he thinks of the things becoming free. He shares his concerns with Sylvia.
"Perhaps we should take the necromancer's body and possessions and destroy it outside this room. And perhaps it would be better tio seal the exist of the room, rather than destroy it."
Hmm, use some spikes and small hammer to seal the two exits, and take the necromancer's body and worst offending impliments into the corridor outside. Set of the incendary once we know the the way onwards is not instantly hostile, and once we know we can get away from the smoke/fire!

Sylvia suggests: "I'd rather not move or touch the necromancer. Why not collect the lanterns, take them outside with us and continue with the original plan?"

Oops, I got it into my head the lamps weren't moveable! Beowuuf agrees to the plan, and moves aroudn the room to carefully collect the lamps and move them outside. He decides to take one with them, as both a light source to save Sylvia's magic, and a weapon if required.Let's torch the place and move on - oh, still checkign out the way onwards first, of course

Beowuuf and Sylvia:
You check out the next room. It is fairly large. One water elemental and one earth elemental are present in this room. Neither appears to be hostile.
The room is made of stone including tables and furniture. There is large pool of water inside.

i = Way in o = Way out L = Shelves P = Pool of Water (and Water elemental) A = Altars (And Earth elementals)
Anything you want to do here before continuing with the plan ?

Doomy:
You want to take the lead (choose the path you want to take in that case) or follow in the wake of the two adventurers?

I'll follow their exact route, but at a safe distance in case they trigger any traps.

The two adventurers continue along the wall, stopping only to loot the corpses they come across. On their way, they find three human corpses.
At one point they spot and walk around a trap, and they also detect one other trap not directly on the way.
Eventually, you reach the Teleporter. There are a number of corpses not too far away. You notice one Giak corpse along with several humans. (These corpses have not been looted by your companions.)
The adventurers are looking closer at the teleporter and they seem eager to use it.

'Ah', thought Beowuuf, seeing the harmoniously living two elementals. He did not wish to antagonise them by throwing the bomb from here, nor put lanterns into the room without asking.
He gestured for Sylvia to stay back, and hoped he could speak sufficient words in Dessi-like Shianti to secure passage. Hello," he said. We are travellers passing through. May we be permitted to proceed?"
